When I’m trying to launch this game I can’t. I always get this error. My GPU supports DX12 and i checked it by Win+R in dxdiag.

The same problem here, I already installed the drivers and the game and the problem continues
i have the same prob with my radeon 480. 2020 works fine…
It might need 12.1 wich our radeon rx 400 series cards don’t seem to suport. I hope I’m wrong and it’s a drivers issue. This sim is a disaster.
hope for a driver problem too.. that would mean a new pc not only graphic card… why do you think the sim is a disaster? does it work for you?

That gpu is 3 years older than the minumum reqiured AMD GPU, so it’s your fault you didn’t check if your PC can run the game

they could still let us try tho… I managed to run ga on msfs 2020 with a literal PENTIUM (the cpu, but separate gpu) so what’s stopping us… I know its directx that only has the newer version for 2024 but they could at least make us able to launch the sim and not get a directx12 error.

In Minimum requiements Is DX 12, not DX 12.1.
Same here with Raedon RX 580. It is supporting DX12 but it seems we need to upgrade our hardware? Is a RX5700 better? Unfortunatly i dont know this stuff -.-
What’s stopping you is likely elements of DX12 that the 480/580 don’t actually support (aka DX12.1)

Buenas, pero los requisitos mínimos de hardware NO deben ser un condicionante para no ejecutar el juego. Otra cosa es que calidad gráfica puedas configurar, así como los fps a los que puedas jugar. El directx 12 si lo sería ya que es software y lo requiere para ejecutarse. En mi caso, tengo la 590 y me pasa lo mismo, cuando el directx está actualizado a la última versión y me deja ejecutar otros juegos AAA de última generación en calidad media - baja.

Am running Windows 10, i5 4440 CPU, 24gb ram & Geforce GTX 660 GPU.
I am not that computer literate but have been trying to resolve with suggestions posted by others but to no avail.
Any suggestions what to do here would be great as I purchased the game for my younger son earlier today?

Hi, same here with 4080 super and 7600x … there was a solved topic in 2023 on the same error with FS2020. The guy changed his Monitor and everything was fine. Im playing on 4k Sony TV, may this device is sending a kind of a wrong signal back to the gpu ?!
