ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
While at first everything was working fine now when i fly missions i have no engine sounds and also no Button/Switches Sound, people talking, Radio and music is fine. Also on landing no touch down sound.
Flying in VR btw.

Flying in Free Flight all is normal and no problem!

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
had it in the Cessna 172 and cabri helicopter.

no, nothing changed, stopped working out of nowhere.

The only time I’ve noticed no engine or internal sounds is:

If you plug in any usb or turn on a powered hub after starting career, training or free flight, there will be no engine/button sounds.

Well, i just went into a training for the helicopter career and bam, again, no engine and cockpit FX. I’ve recorded the video but don’t think that would help anyone as it is just as descriped.

If it was working and now not, something changed somewhere.
Ideas/thoughts:.
Using a headset or speakers?
Sounds work when not in VR?

Is there anything turned on (by mistake or intentional) in:
-Accessibility>Auditory Assistance (Start Screen)
-General Settings>General>Sound
reset to default, try various settings, select your sound device instead of leaving it as default.

-Try while in Career " Toggle Headphone On/Off " default is Alt+H
any difference?

Nice find, didn’t see that. Well, i found 5 other bugs today, but really not in the mood to look & write for everything atm.

For example, wasn’t able to do the last training mission in CPL, bedause in VR it didn’t recognize overflying mud golfing place, had to switch to monitor view and start the timer there, because unclilckable in VR.

Hope they fix these issues.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

At the start of the mission there are no engine sounds. I have to abort the mission and reboot the computer a few times.

It is quite frustating because after rebooting a few times sometimes the mission is no longer available.

Vision Jet and Bonanza G36 in Career Mode.

80% of the time.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

I created a Private Charter company in career mode and bought a Vision Jet to use.

I start the sim, jump in career mode and have a mission with the Vision Jet in freelance mode successfully.
After the first mission, I stay in the sim and career mode and choose a new freelance mission with the same plane. When mission loads the Vision Jet has no sound.
Closing the sim and deleting sf50 directory in streamed packages solves the issue. However, it is frustrating to close the sim and delete the plane folder in streamed packages mission after mission.

Cirrus Vision Jet SF50

No mods/add-ons installed. Issue present with clean sim.

Every time.

  1. pirvate charter company in career mode with vision jet
  2. fly first mission w/ sound
  3. after finishing first mission choose another one without exiting sim/career mode. vision jet should have no sound

Ok, after todays update i get the no sound bug also in free flight with the H125, nice. :yawning_face: :-1:

For me the same: Sim Update 1 Beta, MSFS2024, no engine sound in the first mission.
