msfs 2024 error code “307-400-00401” trying to load the 1st mission in career mode. restarted game a couple times to get that far and now just stuck in the login queue and can no longer test or play

this is fixed and the mission is pointing to the proper plane now

Hi everyone. I’m have to second that the issue is NOT fixed.
I’m using MS 24 through MS store. No updates available.
You select your first mission through HQ > Missions> First flight > Accepts mission> Fly > > and during the load of the airplane “Unexpected error occurs”
Error as on the title.
Solution is not described to anyone. Developer mode cannot be enabled in settings to check some deeper things like pointing to a proper airplane (in my case mission wishes to use Viking Air Limited, a De Havillan DHC-2). And there’s nowhere to change it.
J3T4Life I’d love to know how you got this resolved.

Having the same trouble for 2 days now. with no sign of any progress.
Try this:
Go in your Microsoft store library. Maybe u see 2 fs2024, one installed and one in cloud called “fs2024 standard edition”. Download It and try to start the mission
NOT FIXED, HOW CAN IT TAKE SO LONG, 4 DAYS WAITING AND NOTHING. DO SOMETHING, J3T4LIFE, DONT LIE, THIS IS NOT FIXED, ERROR CODE 307-400-00401 WITH HQ > Missions> First flight > Accepts mission> Fly > > and during the load of the airplane “Unexpected error occurs”
I’m still having the same problem. Tried reinstalling the game multiple times, still not working.
I’m having the same issue. Very dissapointed with my purchase so far.
I Got the same error on the first flight mission, but it is 307-400-00002.
It is not fixed.
EDIT!!! I got it fixed. I already posted a solution to Mission CTDs in general. As this was actually not a CTD I thought it is something different, but it all comes down to settings, which are far from optimized in MSFS2024.
Solution: Lower your settings, start with lowest settings if your PC is not high end.
For example I can run at ultra but for this mission I turned off all traffic, road, fauna, Raytraced shadows and online weather (although weather should actually not come to play. Read this article for more details. This btw fixes Tornado as well and any other mission CTD/error I have encountered.
