For me the biggest problem is the lack of airports. How can I plan a flight for a mission given by them in their own flight planner and the airport simply does not exist? Or worse, in the mission EFB the arrival or departure procedure is there and the flight chart is not available? Forcing me to still use the Navigraph. This is unacceptable.
I understand that it would have limitations, but then don’t launch an incomplete product. The idea is perfect but the execution left a lot to be desired.
It’s a bummer that it currently doesn’t work as it should with all aircraft. Overall the feature is a major positive and i look forward to using it properly.
Trying this out for the first time and have the same issue re: fuel, cruise alt & speed for C172.
I’ll be curious if I can at least get the routing into the EFB in sim and calculate fuel at that point?
I’m on Xbox X where very few planes integrate with SimBrief and even less with Navigraph Charts. This will definitely be a better option for me!
I still can’t get it to save. Just goes to a blank white screen and when I refresh the page I have to input the flight plan again from scratch. I have never actually saved a flight plan with the web browser yet.
This is the Flight Plan I am trying to save. I use the suggested route to get the route, so luckily all I need to input are Departure and Arrival airports.
If I have no route, I can get the dialog box for saving to popup. If I put in this route, I can briefly see the dialog box (less than a second) before the page goes white.
I had the same problem. Flightplan would not show in EFB. Finally I turned the EFB off and back on. And there voila, were my saved flightplans in the EFB to choose from.
unlock the EFB (one of the three buttons on top) the click the “x” on the top right of the EFB. then open it normally with “tab” key. That is working for me so far. Granted I only tried three different flightplans but they all show up in the EFB.
after that dont forget to click “load flightplan” and “send to avionics”
