MSFS 2024 Flight Planning and website

For me the biggest problem is the lack of airports. How can I plan a flight for a mission given by them in their own flight planner and the airport simply does not exist? Or worse, in the mission EFB the arrival or departure procedure is there and the flight chart is not available? Forcing me to still use the Navigraph. This is unacceptable.

I understand that it would have limitations, but then don’t launch an incomplete product. The idea is perfect but the execution left a lot to be desired.

check this video to know how to use it FREE MSFS 2024 Web Flight Planner: Flight Planning MADE EASY! was made by simflightpro

Useful thread. This video takes you through step by step to get the plan into the sim in one piece.

I have been having trouble with the 787. Glad to know not all planes are working. Have to try this in the 172.

In the 787 I could get the plan in and eventually to have the autopilot follow it but the VNAV and LOCF/GS seemed inop.

Any information if that simulation is complete (or relatively together)?

Thanks for link to the video. It showed me where I was going wrong when trying to load the flight plan in the EFB.

The 172 is not much better (at all) than the 787. More buttons do not work… like altitude hold. How they can sell something like this?

Guess I just have to wait and look at the scenery.

Save it to FS2024.

Load it into your plane.

Wow, on initial load I thought I was on Navigraph. It’s way more than I expected.

I’m fascinated MS put some resources into this.

It’s a bummer that it currently doesn’t work as it should with all aircraft. Overall the feature is a major positive and i look forward to using it properly.

Trying this out for the first time and have the same issue re: fuel, cruise alt & speed for C172.
I’ll be curious if I can at least get the routing into the EFB in sim and calculate fuel at that point?
I’m on Xbox X where very few planes integrate with SimBrief and even less with Navigraph Charts. This will definitely be a better option for me!

there is a useful video here on the fuel etc in the EFB;

I was able to save a plan a few days ago but I can’t today. Is the save down? 11/30

It might be. It is sending me to a blank screen in the web browser when I try to save a plan. It has done it in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.

Mine just saved to PC.

I still can’t get it to save. Just goes to a blank white screen and when I refresh the page I have to input the flight plan again from scratch. I have never actually saved a flight plan with the web browser yet.

This is the Flight Plan I am trying to save. I use the suggested route to get the route, so luckily all I need to input are Departure and Arrival airports.

If I have no route, I can get the dialog box for saving to popup. If I put in this route, I can briefly see the dialog box (less than a second) before the page goes white.
