I am following up on a post I did when 2024 launched. I was wondering if the marketplace is open? And if it isn’t what is the expected time it will be available? I will only get the sim when marketplace is available soooo… yea if someone could let me now what the plans are?

It was going to be down for 2 weeks. So since the sim launched on the 19th, that would put it sometime 12/3 or after.
Pretty sure it will be December 7th

AFAIK, there has been no official announcement of the date when the 2024 Marketplace will open. Announcements from the MS/AS team appear on these forums in News & Announcements. You might want to add this category to the list of categories shown on your sidebar, if it is not already there (click the little pencil icon to edit your category list):

Just hoping that with marketplace comes with a proper content manager interface and not the stub of one we have now.
Today I got a in-game message my 2020 content was enabled.
Now the game crash every time I start at airport that I have a 2020 scenery pack for.
I did not had a single crash issue before, been playing pretty much 24/7 since launch. And I cannot even disable the scenery now!!! Fix this Asobo we need a disable button. Modders can also not fix because even SDK is not released !!
There’s a workaround where if you know the folder name of the offending scenery, you can put a blank folder with that name in 2024’s community folder and it will prevent the bad package from loading in.
Sadly I do not know the folder name I uninstalled 2020 a while ago already.
navigate up 2 folders from 2024 community (LocalCache), then go into SceneryIndexes and you can find the names of all the packages being loaded by 2024 there (be sure to omit the .dat in the folder name)
Ok I found the name “microsoft-airport-ehrd-rotterdam” so make folder here right ?C:\Users*Username*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official2024
no, put the new empty folder in \Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

Anyone noticed that some aircraft that were initially available, have now disappeared from 2024. I had purchased the Mitsubishi MU-2 through the marketplace for 2020. It showed up in 2024, and I had a quick look at it tonight and took it for a short flight. But when I looked for it a short time later, it was no longer available in 2024. The V35 Bonanza is missing as well now, and I definitely flew that in 2024 a couple of days ago.
I am guessing they are pulling aircraft from 2024 for some reason. One of the problems with this steamed system is you just don’t know when they have moved the goalposts.
I suspect this to be an initial hurdle of the new sim and that whenever it is ready (hopefully soon) we will have access to and the ability to download all our marketplace items.
Perhaps quit the sim and restart a few times before calling it?
