I am trying everyday to play MSFS 2024 on XCloud but I dont get very far…the controller is barely working as it should and I get stuck loading flights or loading career training flights. Is this experience similiar to other XCloud users?
Well, apart from some bugs, I thinks some of them are common to every platform and some others exclusive to xcloud, it works fine for me. The most common bug is that I have to refresh the page so the controller works as it should.
But my most desired feature is the compatibility with mouse and keyboard. How is it even possible this is not compatible given the fact that this game is made to be played using mouse and xbox version of the game is compatible with mouse and keyboard?

Are you able to adjust the controller sensitivity (and save it to a profile) and save custom cameras for the planes on XCloud? I can’t access those options just using the controller.
Yes! Seversl tvreads about this and the game has a big bug over cloud that makes tve controller unusable snd the only way to play is to do a workaround, that also stopped working earlier this week but then started working again after a day.
But for a while there it was impossible to play, and if you dont know the workaround you cant play at all.
So cloud is broken!
But when you get it to work its good!
But how this is not fixed on day two is beyond me! Its even an old 2020 bug too so hope isnt big they will care
The funny thing is that its keyboard mode it gets stuck in and what tvis game braking bug is all about! Crazy!
Everytime I try to load the IniBuilds a320 into the map to start a Free Flight the game crashes on XCloud…is Free Flight completely broken?

Now, after patch3 I cannot even get past the opening screen, Xbox controller not recognized (android on Chrome and bluetooth xbox controller)
I have tried this many times with different browsers, Edge, Chrome, firefox on android and still cannot go further than the start button screen, controller not responsive…
I can only access XCloud on an iPad, which does not have the option for windowed mode. Is there a workaround for iOS devices? Or better yet, a fix in the works so this game is playable?
Try moving the controller during the loading screen, because the root cause of this is a 2020 bug where the controller gets lost when the game is idle to long.
But even though you get past the losding screen, this bug will most probsbly come back again as soon as you are on the runway.

Thanks again for the suggestion, unfortunately it made no difference. Still met with the same splash screen.
Really hoping this can be fixed ASAP or I have very limited options to play this game.
Sadly this does not appear to be addressed in the SU2 beta. XCloud on and iPad is how I would like to mostly play this game due to work travel, but due to this bug zero hours played to date.

They have finally fixed it?!? I flew a bit in 2024 yesterday and didnt know the new update had been released, but did notice that the controller actually worked when started flying! But sometimes it does that, so didnt think more about it until I read the update was out and hoped that maybe this REALLY game breaking bug FINALLY was fixed!
I gotta try it through my pc because there I have not figured out any workaround, so its unplayable about 50% of the times.
I wonder how many casual players they have lost because of this bug?! Its thousands I can tell you!!
On another note, all my installed aircraft on 2020 disapeared a few days ago, again, so tired of this and it takes forever downloading them again ( downloading on cloud is crazy, but its downloading to the ”server” somewhere) so right now I am very glad about the streaming assets in 2024!
Just too bad the heli flightmodel i so bad in 2024!! If flying straight and pull cyclic left, it doesnt turn left, it just strafes left… its s joke! It was I think the first SU that started this.
Gonna do some testing now to see if this controller bug really is gone.
Well it does seem the bug is fixed!
And that choppers are better then before! Or at least like they where before.
The new cowan was unflyable in 2024, its better now but still troublesome around hover.
But some choppers in some areas are now like 2 fps, if you do any sort of turning, flying straight its fine… like cowan 500 around munich… big nono.
