V0.9.4 News

Hello all, V0.9.4 is well into development now, with some great new changes, enhancements and liveries all in the works!
I have also made great progress in customising the C152 Interior, which was a huge challenge to say the least, this means we will be able to fix issues such as:

  • The OAT Gauge facing the wrong way!
  • Create new switches for things like Squak Ident
  • New variables to fix issues around the cockpit
  • DME Display! - The hugely anticipated feature!
  • Wheel Covers - These will be optional but still very cool!

I am super excited about this, but please note, as I am doing this in my free time it will still be a little wait until all this amazing things are completed (Especially the DME Display!)

I want to take this oppurtunity to thank all of our wonderful supporters/donators, mod users & the amazing Beta Testers on Discord!
This mod has got bigger than I ever thought it would!

For anybody interested, I am offering a Livery Creation service through my BuyMeACoffee Page.

As always, the base mod itself will remain free, forever!
This is just a service for those who wish to have a custom livery that isn’t included inside the mod or that want it personalizing etc!

Until next time friends,
Merry Christmas!

For some reason the dome light no longer works. Switch activates but no light, like the bulb is blown.

Hello!
I’ve not been able to test the compatibility of the mod with the latest update!

ATTENTION ALL
Until I get a moment to test, I can not confirm the compatibility of this mod with the newest version of MSFS!
Please report any issues here and I will investigate ASAP!

After switching the dome light switch on, turn the knob to adjust the light. I had the same problem and blamed it on the mod.

Thanks! I should have put that on my message too!

My dome light is working fine. Edit, the earlier comment I made about the lights was wrong, my mistake, they all work fine.

Hide Yoke and Rpm Gauge does not work, have to test stock Aircraft

Thanks I will investigate!

Please note, if you update the game when you load the first time, please restart the game before loading the mod, MSFS doesn’t load mods correctly the first time after updating!

Removing the yokes with mouse clicks doesn’t work after the latest patch.

Thanks, I have already fixed this in the Beta!
Standby for an official update shortly!

HOTFIX FOR MSFS V1.12.13.0

An important notice please read!

Due to the recent 1.12.13.0 release of MSFS and the amount of changes Asobo made to the default C152 (Which this mod builds upon) that caused serious issues within our addon, we have taken the decision to temporarily remove the Flight Model changes from this build.

This was a difficult decision, however, in the interest of making a “quick hotfix” to get the rest of the addon working as it should, it was necessary!

It isn’t all bad news! - This does mean that we get a chance to completely rethink our approach, after learning so much from the past versions, meaning we will be able to deliver a more realistic, higher quality & stable flight model in our next release!

I hope you understand and I really appreciate your patience! I want to provide you with the spectacular addon and wan’t happy to release a flight model that had a number of big issues!

Myself and the Beta Testing team are working hard to get the next update ready! I will hopefully have an update for you around New Years Day!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and I will update you soon!

Changelog:

-Flight Model changes

  • Aircraft tyre contact corrected! Inflated tyres!
  • AI Livery removed (Useable livery is still in the mod!)

Should I substitute the old folder in Community with this one?

Yes! You can either delete the original and paste the new one in, or just overwrite the old one!

V0.9.4 - It can only get better!

Firstly I would like to thank each and every one of you for patiently waiting for this release!

Over the last couple of weeks the weather here in the UK has been, interesting, which has caused a lot of extra time required focusing on my full-time job, throw Christmas/New Year into the mix and well, all I can do is apologise!

But here we have it!

Changelog:

  • Flight Model changes

    • This should now more closely reflect the real world aircraft!

    • More work is still being done to completely fine-tune the flight model!

    • If you have any feedback please join our Discord Channel!

  • Corrected Gauge Calibration after recent updates

  • Utilising the new RPM Gauge, this was released in V0.9.3b but I forgot to mention it!

  • Aircraft Geometry updated!

  • Hopefully, a fix for Saitek Panel users, causing a weird sound bug when starting the engine!

Downloads in the normal places! See Post #1
Until next time, see you soon and thanks again for understanding the reasons for the delays!

Josh,

thank you for the quick update!

As quickly as you provided us with this update, I will give you my feedback!

There is now a conflict with MSFS preassigned o user assigned keybindings. A few examples:

  • B (preassigned - automatic altimeter setting): it now switches COMM1 radio off
  • V (preassigned - map): it turns the fuel valve off [watch out ]
  • Shift+F (user assigned - flaps up): not working

Not game-stoppers at the moment but there may be other issues hidden somewhere so worth having a look!
