MSFS_C152 Community (V1.0.0!) - Updated: 09/10/2021

This is usually caused by using an old version, what version are you on?
Please try redownloading it from the links in the first post, delete the original folder and try again!
Also remove any C152 Liveries and see if it starts working, as some cause issues!

Forgot to tag your post, see the post above this one!

Version 0.17

That’s why, you are using a REALLY outdated version!
Please go to: FlightSim.to

Download the latest mod version from there - delete the C152X folder from your community then place the MSFS_C152 folder there instead!

Try that and let me know!

Thanks man, I will do just that and let you know if that changed anything at all.

It works fine now, thanks so much for the modification and for your dedication, it’s a marvellous plane to fly with. The interesting thing about this sim and no doubt future sims is the realistic way of doing VFR flights. I am a glider pilot in real life, so VFR flying feels natural. Have a nice evening.

Cheers, Marc

V0.9.5 - DME Reader!!

Changelog:

  • DME Reader - Yes, you read that correctly!
    • To enable this feature you need to click the “DME” button in on the Audio Panel!
    • It will switch between the NAV Freq. & DME Distance (in NM) every 5 seconds
    • This is a temporary measure until we can install a proper DME system!
  • Flight Model Changes
  • Copilot is now livery based
    • Choose a livery with “w/CP” on the end
    • To convert a existing Livery, open the relevent “aircraft.cfg” and add “copilot” into the "model = " section!

Links as standard at the top of the page!
I hope you enjoy!

It works nicely for me, this “improper” DME.
Have you considered adding a heading bug, or doesn’t that exist on the 152?

Thank you Josh! DME works perfectly!

Wow, Josh, the DME feature is excellent! Just a thought (maybe you already considered this but it’s not possible or you just didnt want to), can the DME distance be displayed in the standby frequency windows instead of the active?

Wow, you guys like to spend a ton of money on your C152’s :open_mouth:
You do realize you won’t get that back in resale value?

I don’t think I have seen any with a heading bug!
Glad the DME is good!

My pleasure! Enjoy!

Thanks! Glad you like it!
Using the standby did actually make it to a test
but I found it unnatural!
So i went with the Active & switching between every 5 seconds, I like to set my stand-by when using the active and that was difficult when it was switching around!
Thanks!

Makes sense, thanks again for your efforts!!

Well, that’s what I was addressing, if you’re gonna add a DME to a C152, he thought, well, might as well install an HSI. Given our unlimited cash flow

And a Garmin GNS430, why not??

I wasn’t going to go down the actual GPS route!
Sticking to the good old fashioned stuff

I guess, if this has enough interest then
 it’s a possibility, maybe!

I have been using this mod for a while now
I do love ot. Have since earlier version. I am trying the new one today and for me it’s constantly rolling slightly to the left
Whatever the weather (so even in calm).
Is anyone else getting this?

Is this a known thing?

Thanks for all the work in the mod though, I do love.it.
