I wouldn’t expect you to fix it. I always check the volume knob on the radio. Yours will not be the only mod ever that causes this issue, and I have no problem checking the volume on my radios. In fact, I prefer that they start in the off position as I always turn my radios off when I shut down.
I think english is not Elliot’s first language, and he really was just giving a hint, “remember to increase the volume when you switch planes”. (?)
Ahh I see,
I wasn’t sure if it was a bug report!
It is on my radar to get them separated to save any such conflicts especially if other aircraft use a slightly different way to do the same thing, which could cause issues with ours that would be nearly impossible to track down (people don’t usually mention using other mods) without knowing everything about someone else’s sim!
I’ve downloaded this mod partially because of the ability to dim the dome light. Supposedly the dimmer knob can be found under the pilot yoke, but I can’t find any dimmer there.
I’m not sure if I have installed it correctly. I placed the files in the Community folder, and it shows up in Content Manager. I understand there is no extra plane to fly, this should modify the standard “Textron Aviation Cessna 152”, but I don’t see anything different with that plane.
Hello!
So the dimmer knob looks kind of flat & it’s a circle, it’s to the lower left (?) of the yoke, you have to hide the yoke to see it!
The plane doesn’t look physically different, but there will be a Blue & Silver livery installed if it’s working correctly and the registration should default to “G-JNPL”
First (again ) a big Thanks for this mod and your on-going support on it, great, love this C152!
On the latest version I noticed that the transponder digits do not change with the ATCinstructions or when I change them external.
Let me explain: my co-pilot is doing the ATC and so on. So, if ATC tells Sq my copilot responds to it and the transponder on the plane gets set to this new code, I can (normally) read it on the panel.
Now, with this latest version I do not see it respond.
Also: I have some external MobiFlight controls.
One config shows the Sq code on a LCD display.
When my co-pilot says it will do the sq-change I DO see the change on my LCD-display so MSFS internally is changing to the new code, just don’t see it on the C152 panel.
Other thing is: with my LCD panel I made a knob so I can change the SQ code manually and although I see the changes on my LCD display I do not see it on the C152panel.
Could you try this yourself and see if it’s just my setup or may-be a C152mod ‘thing’?
I didn’t try the stock C152 but both (mod and original) were ok before.
Today I flew from LIBR to LIBD and I wanted to have the LIBD tower on COMM1 and LIBD ATIS on COMM2. COMM2 seemed not to work even though the volume was all the way up. I could hear both Tower and ATIS on COMM1 though…
I am very happy with the modifications to the default Cessna 152, but my RPM gage doesn’t show any movement of the RPM needle. I haven’t read through the whole thread, but I would like to ask if this is a common issue.
