MSFS_C152 Community (V1.0.0!) - Updated: 09/10/2021

Continuing development!

Work is continuing on the mod at a decent pace, those within the Discord or who pay attention to the Developer Branch will see massive file changes!
We have big things coming and will be jumping straight forward to V2.0.0!
There is currently no announced release date, although please be assured we won’t keep you waiting forever!
It will be worth the wait!
Join the Discord Server and you might see some sneaky development shots!
I must say though, please do not attempt to use the Development Branch for everyday use (Unless you want to help us of course!), it is in a very dynamic state with some… interesting bugs we are working through!

Hi, I’ve just tried this mod for the first time, and overall I like it, but I have an issue, not sure what I’m doing wrong. I can see the pilot after I start engines and try to taxi. It’s like I’m inside the head, so I see the back of the sunglasses and part of the microphone, and part of the chin. It’s not going to be possible to fly with it this way. Has anyone seen this, and is there a solution? I remember something similar with the Warrior last fall, but going to external and back to internal fixed the issue. That isn’t helping at all in this case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I just loaded the default 152, then taxied without seeing the pilot. Then returned to the JPL and everythinng looked okay, so apparently it’s not a constant problem. I’ll try another flight and see if it returns, hopefully just a one-off.

Hi, press the yellow mic ext button, to remove, and yellow spkr to remove co pilot.
On top of the radio and nav panel.

So the spkr button removes the copilot and the mic ext button removes the pilot?

Yes you wont see the headphones and glasses

Any tasty news on any upcoming updates to this fantastic project?
Feature updates obviously, as I don’t seem to have any issues with the plane currently.

Has further development stopped on this superb project? Or are there any new ideas / updates planned for the future?

From the discord server 5 days ago:

No, definitely not abandoned…just in slow motion at the moment. Real life has JP by the balls right now and he doesn’t have much time to spare.

Nope!
I’m still here, work is progressing!
Here’s a little teaser shot I shared in Discord last night!
V2.0 is going to be a MEGA update, we’ve basically redone the entire aircraft so working through things that need more attention, mainly getting the textures working nicely after swapping to a nice exporter!
A very small snippet of things too look forward too..

Honestly, me and @WeptBurrito2749 have done so many changes I really should have kept a log of them!

Superb news - thanks! :slightly_smiling_face:

Wow. Really look forward to the update. Incidentally, will this affect livery compatibility?

That livery will be on the aircraft, but with the broken textures fixed!

I’m REALLY looking forward to flying this!

If they have been made for the mod then no, but as with V1 stuff, the Default Cessna Liveries don’t work

Does this mean doing an engine overall every 100 HRS AND paying someone to do it?

Hi, I’ve discovered this wonderful mod only recently, and I think it’s probably the best MSFS freeware ever.
I’m sure all the updates will be great, but I hope the “taildragger” thing will be optional. I really love the current tricycle configuration.

Also, I’d much like to know what’s the airport in the image.

Looks like Barton, Manchester, UK.

Yes, I am pretty sure the taildragger will just be a variant.
