You nailed it bro. Thanks.
you, you are a LIFE SAVER, ive been having this issue for over a month, ive tried so many different methods, and this simple thing WORKEDD, THANK YOU SO MUCH
Exactly the same problem as the OP. Uninstalled Nvidia App. Now all working ok.
In case it helps someone else, I can confirm this.
My 2020 was suddenly crashing during startup.
I used the optimization thing in the Nvidia App to switch to DX12, and the problem disappeared.
Thank you very much, I was pulling my hair out trying to fix this issue after a new computer build, 2024 worked fine but 2020 ctd on start-up. Thanks again!!
This worked. Thank you. What puzzles me is, Why.. all of a sudden?
changed to dx12 and now everything is fine.
this is related to nvidia, dayum!
first problems to install linux, then problems with msfs2020, they have to get their thing together.
Many thanks.
This is what worked for me after numerous full uninstalls and reinstalls.
Youâre very welcome. Fly safe
I had this issue and Thank God! this fixed it so far! But the Search for number 190_E658703 was not shown, what I had was 160_E658703 so I deleted it and MSFS 2020 works again!
So it seems to be an issue with the E658730 file no matter if its 190 or 160 starting on the file name.
GOD BLESS!!!
Solved by removing the whole âmodelsâ directory. It was recreated whan launching FS2020.
YesâŠmiracles seem to cease with each update.
