MSFS plug-in for Voice Attack users

To @VileIntent and everyone watching this thread. After much head banging I found an issue for why some of my getplanestate variable were always returning “Not Set”.
It turns out there is a typo in the documentation. All the variables start with “MSAgent” in doc when in reality they should be “MSFSAgent” (not the extra “FS”). Fixing this in my commands now works great!

Thank you for this great plugin, looking forward to really enjoying all it can do!

Can you please explain the radio settings or post a screenshot.
Thanks

Is anyone still using MSFS Agent and are willing to help me get it going? I’m willing to pay for help.

I’ve setup an Azure account and added the plugin to VoiceAttack.

How can I replace the default windows speech output with Azure?

— ok got it, you have to use

Other > Advanced > Execute an External Plugin Function

Does anyone know how to fix this error code with saving the audio file?

11:50:49.580 MSCognitiveTextToSpeech: Audio file could not be cached/saved to disk. Msg: Exception with an error code: 0x8 (SPXERR_FILE_OPEN_FAILED)

Hi,

I am new to this, just learning, but how can you create an auto file to play based on a aircraft’s altitude?

Here is my setup:
1 .I am calling the GETPLANESTATE command

2. i am the calling the condition MSFSAgent.PlaneState.Plane_Alt_Above_Ground to get the 6ft alt from ground.

  1. At this point it just skips to “stable” call.

I want VA to check if plane is at 6 feet and then move to the audio file.

I have been doing some debugging and i am now getting this error: 12:10:13.404 MSFS Agent: ‘MSFS Agent’ command not found in this profile. Agent standing down.

Why would this be?

Hi,

Could you share your VA profile for this? I am trying to do something similar and it would really help my understanding - thanks.

Well i can’t set nav’s or radios!
Swap function works ok.
This is so frustrating, setting nav and radio would be great in VR [sniffle]
Anyone have a working profile they want to share?

This does not seem to work with msfs 2024. The variables don’t seem to line up. I tried it on landing gear and parking brake variables. Anyone know if this is supposed to work with 24?

I’m succesfully using Voice Attack in 2024, and I have the MSFS Agent v1.0 installed, BUT, I don’t have any fancy programming as you have shown, just simple button presses. I have ‘Parking Brake’ simply mapped to Left Ctrl + Space.

the issue seems to be with the msfsagent plugin not voiceattack. My basic commands are working (like the ones you mentioned).

I couldn’t get VA to recognise decimals until i switched this.

I’ve now tweaked MS Agent using a range of numbers now instead of wildcards.
Comms and Nav radios working great.
