MSFS very very very long loading time

I wonder whether they will optimize that new win 11 feature that is supposed to move memory from the CPU to an NVME drive and allow better cpu performance?

Well. The details came and then the smart guys found it not problematic. That’s something entirely different. It’s not that the smart guys asking for more details didn’t react to the given details.

Good day, unfortunately, it is the same for everyone, the problem is the game services app always has some bugs, and it is the fundamental one that is needed to start the game. Having said that I also noticed that after world update 8 it is slower, in my opinion it is some bugs in the game services app.

In my case, the game services are not causing the long loading times. I wonder how you come to your conclusion…

A few people have mentioned that they don’t understand why downloading takes so long because they have very fast internet (someone mentioned they had 1Gb/s). It’s isn’t really about how fast you can receive data from a server, it is more how fast is the server sending data. If, for example, it sends at 20mbit then having an internet of 1gbit or even 10gbit isn’t going to make much difference for you.

I also have a mixture of NVME and SATA ssd’s and to be honest, the only time I really notice a difference is in speedtest software like CrystalDiskMark

Regarding download speeds: Just check the usage of your nework while loading.
For me, the network traffic is negligible, most of the time (loading into a flight) seems to be spent loading/processing data from the local files, especially when starting at a location you recently have been to (rolling cache).

The NVMe is also barely in use, with some spikes. So the limiting factor seems to be the CPU (at least one core) and RAM+VRAM which are stressed when loading.
