MSFS2020 - MS Azure

Since several weeks I have an issue with spoken ATC in MSFS2020. ATC langage is mixed between english and german within the phrase. I know that I’m not the only one. Haven’t changed anything in my setup, ATC is set in FS2020 as Windows offline and the corresponding langugage package is installed since the beginning.

Just would like to know either, if Azure is working properly meanwhile with FS2020 or if its still better to use ATC with windows offline. Have to mention that I’m swiss and my system is configured with german as primary language. Voice en-US and en-GB are installed as well, but not as main language.

Would be great to get any feedback and information on that matter. Many thanks and kind regards from LSZH.

Have the same since WU4

Ditto…Spanish, and English here

If you’re operating in Offline ATC, nothing is coming from Azure. It’s all being drawn from the Local Language packs on your PC.

Hello,
Same for me. I’ve posted a message about that a few days ago, but to no avail:

A bit of info: When I switch back to Azure, I get no audio-in from ATC, ATIS or Ground or Tower. Audio-out works fine, I can hear “my” voice speaking, but I only get the scrolling text from outside, except a “crackle” sound and nothing else.
So it’s not only Windows-offline that’s (eventually) bugging…

thanks for the info on Azure and have the same when selected. then I only hope the mixed languages will be fixed with the upcoming patch next week.
