Toggles for Covers and Chocks not working from EFB.
Engine running at 100%, Parking break released, but Aircraft is not moving unless you activate beacon light.
No option to load into cockpit. IRL the captain first goes to the flightdeck and then does the walkaround! And sometimes her delegates it to the FO. Here it is mandatory.
An airliner is hardly ever pulled to the gate with engine covers on. Here they are always on.
Probably a Sim-Limitation, but the developers should have raised this during development and insinst on realistic procedures. An A320 is not a SEP GA plane…
Yes, this is a sim thing - and a design decision on MS/Asobos end, so unrelated to this aircraft or iniBuilds. There surely already is a wishlist topic available for voting.
Anyway, I’m currently on my first flight to compare the MSFS 2020 version with the new one. By now it’s working good, but I discovered two things:
There is no MSFS flight planner integration at all - it’s not possible to sync the route information from the default EFB to the aircraft avionics (FMS). Currently there is “only” Simbrief integration available.
The tiller option does not seem to work - I assigned my joystick twist to nose wheel steering in MSFS24 options just like in MSFS 2020. Vidually the tiller moves, physically the aircraft does not react to steering input this way. If I set the option to “rudder+tiller” I can steer on ground using the rudder but still not exclusively using the tiller.
Contrails are not generated at the engines, it seems these are coming out of the APU instead
Rebranded as “new sim”. They should have opted to sell DLC that worked. This will take years to fix and then they will do the same thing again in a cash grab.
And the reason why they did not do so is the reason it’s a new sim. The architecture the old one is build on does not allow them to go any further with new features - just look at your main thread performance which was a problem from the start of MSFS in 2020 and compare it to now. Resolving this issue alone requires a huge rework of the code base.
If you disagree you can opt in to X-Plane which does the same common thing for (imho) less quality content.
Anyone else have the issue where the entire FS2024 simulator completely freezes after selecting “End Flight” after completing a flight in the A320 Neo?
I did 2 flights in this plane and in both cases, i needed to “End task” via the Task Manager and restart the sim to recover. Even Alt-F4 would not kill the game.
This happens only after selecting “End flight” after completing the flight.
Yup - I have it with all aircraft. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling MSFS2024 and that helped for a while, but now it’s back again after a few flights. Thought it might be connected to VR, but I guess not. Frustrating.
Seem to have an issue where the auto pilot is mostly non-functional. The following works on the panel; Auto throttle, IAS. The following does not work or engage; HDG, Nav, Alt, VS. The autopilot light comes on but doesn’t actually do anything. HDG, Nav, Alt, VS all look like the try to engage but just don’t. Further the heading bug moves when on the ground but doesn’t when in the air.
I fly airliners exclusively. Starting from the ground outside has gotten old quickly. I’m not saying that the feature should be gotten rid of, but it should be optional.
After almost 2 months of wait there is still no fix for the Strobe flashing into the cockpit and for the flood lights not working issue in MSFS 2020. And Inibuilds says that the fix is ready, they are only waiting for Microsoft to push it out as shown in the picture.
Note to Asobo and Microsoft: pushing out a new Sim doesnt mean that you need to totally forget the old one, especially if your decisions of streaming almost everything made your sim impossible to play for some people, since it requires basically NASA level internet speeds…
But I guess this post wont change anything.
PS. Yeah i know that this section is for MSFS2024 but every other topic in the polls and feedback section for the Ini A320 NEO V2 flagged as MSFS2020 got removed (since i guess thats obsolete now).
If it’s not absolutely game-breaking, fixes to aircraft that are part of the core sim only happen on sim updates. So got to wait for SU16 before the v2 will see any fixes
If I could load the planes in, maybe I would be able to vote!, None of the inibuilds planes work for me, when I load in they always freeze permanently, Its been like this since release, (I am on xbox series s) , what should I do?
Asobo / Inibuilds, please repair the sound of the a320/ 321. The cockpit ambient sound (fan, electric) is massivly to loud. Then set thrust, then the sound decrease. This ist not real. In msfs20 was the sound better!
Unable to offer feedback as using this aircraft results in me getting the well documented VRAM bug and my FPS plummets to almost single figures, rendering it unflyable.
