[MSFS2024] Airbus A321LR

I noticed a very loud noise after I connected the GPU, sounds like the cooling fan from the avionics bay, which I can only hear from the cockpit. Is this an intended feature? Because the fan sounds louder than the engines.

I really hope we can get the XLR model of this aircraft so we have more range

Definitely not.

This plane makes me deeply concerned about the quality control of Inibuilds, which deters me from buying their A350. In addition to the deafening fan sounds, I found several more flaws. 1. Not all the RNAV approaches are modelled. 2. Sometimes the plane won’t move after I release the parking brakes. 3. The plane won’t announce Autobrake settings on the PFD after I set it using the buttons. 4. The altimeter settings from hPa to inHg are the opposite of what the sim shows me. The ISIS will change the inHg part as I set my primary altimeter, but the hPa part and the ISIS itself won’t set themselves correctly because I set them not to be linked.

Is there a pause at TOD option?

No, I don’t believe that is a feature of any default aircraft at the moment.

Unfortunately, the sound of the ventilation/packs is still excessively loud after SU3, making the aircraft practically unusable.

It’s hard to believe anyone at Inibuilds actually flies it and think this could be considered acceptable.

So I just took this aircraft out for a spin from Rhodes to Basel on SU3. What happened to it?! I’m using a Thrustmaster Hotas One which is perfect for all other aircraft but any input on the the roll axis and its the fixed wing version of a jelly-copter. It wobbles around uncontrollably until you throw in many more inputs and it stops. Like I say, no problems in the A20N or A330

Xbox series X with many filled sick bags from the poor passengers that had to endure that. At least there wasn’t any turbulence in the lightening storm we flew through on descent

Hi!

A while back I reported this issue.

It seemed fixed but I guess it’s not.

It’s here: Inibuilds a321 wing rocking

Post your experience there and vote for it.

I think I have a workaround. None of those posted by others worked for me.

The last time I got this bug was after installing SU3 beta.

I deleted the streamed package for this plane (the folder of the a321 inside the streamed packages folder), forcing it to download again and that seemed to work.

Haven’t flown it since.

I had it before SU3. It’s gone now for me.

My version is just streamed. Might try downloading it and see what happens

I am also having the extreme wing rocking issue on Xbox and I fly with the Xbox controller. The bug is unique to the A321 - doesn’t affect 320/330. I have the A321 locally installed and it seems much worse after the latest update.

I had something similar. Check that your rudder binding is only to ‘Rudder Axis’ and nothing else. Seemed to change recently for some reason, but checking the bindings to Rudder Axis sorted this for me.

Cannot set managed heading mode on the MCP, any ideas why?

Do you mean that after you “pull” the knob towards you, you can’t change the heading?

No i mean when i want to set it to follow a flight plan (HDG digits go blank and a dot appears), it flashes for a second and then reverts back to set heading

When that happens, it generally means there is an issue with the MCDU entries somewhere.

Are your flight directors on? Also, it needs to be close to the path to follow it. If you are far away you need to use direct to

You know what, that might be it, need to check the FD again

The plane has become a lot more playable after SU3; I never got the chance to compliment the devs for this. However, there are still two problems that I have with the jet. First, the plane sometimes locks the brakes after I use autobrake low for landing. It wouldn’t move at all even if the autobrake has been disarmed. Second, the EFB overlaps with the sunshades on the side of the cockpit. To be specific, it’s the “takeoff” button. The shades would also be raised after I choose that page to calculate my takeoff performance. Other issues are gone, once again, huge props to the devs for finally fixing it.
