[MSFS2024] Airbus A330 (-200, -300, -300P2F)

iniBuilds can pump out new scenery and even the updated premium A300 but there are still issues with their default MSFS2024 aircraft. Issues with the A330 wing flex, same with their A321, half way through a flight my cockpit textures re-spawn into a blurry mess (streaming aircraft) is insanity. My rolling cache is set to 120GB.

Do you have a working TCAS with the 330-200 ?
I encountered 2 flights yesterdays and none was reported by TCAS (it was enabled in TA/RA mode)

No TCAS on INIbuilds Airbuses :frowning:

Please add AUTO Step Altitudes feature! This will be very convenient on long flights at night

Happened to me today when flying A330-200. All systems froze during approach. I managed to land using GTN750 addon for autopilot and Navigraph tool to monitor my speed, heading and altitude. Thankfully the plane was controllable with joystick, throttle and pedals.

It does not happen every time. I flew other inibuilds planes before and it was first time today.

Still no wingflex. Also engine blades going in the opposite direction.
The FO Tiller for Taxiing also goes into the opposite direction during taxi.

TCAS still not working. Why did i bought this sim? Just why. So frustrating this whole simulator. Not a chance to take just ONE flight without a problem.
Shame on you.

is there any way to calibrate this A300 300 the pins are out of step with each other…

IFR flights are what I mainly do. I was looking forward to the 737 Max but until I can directly import Simbrief plans, I mostly use the A330’s as they’re new from MSFS2020.

Graphically I can’t see any problems and I love the hum and vibration of the Rolls-Royce engines.

The only issues I have is using a controller and the throttles/reversers not moving up or down to detents when instructed.

Also the freezes when quitting to the menu which the top 25 bugs list says they haven’t been able to recreate since Dec. If you’re just parked at the gate and quit, it will work as normal. If you prep, taxi and take off to do a flight for a period of time, then it will freeze if you quit.

I managed an 11 hour Houston to Frankfurt this morning without incident until it came to the reversers and of course ending the flight and the freeze. I was quite pleased with myself. Haha

If you use any kind of import on the MCDU that’s what causes the freeze. So if you don’t do init request or import takeoff data and it is fine

Are you sure about that? Even on a long flight? Why would you do a long flight without importing any kind of data?

Apparently it’s an issue with importing data. You just have to enter everything in manually which takes a few extra minutes but isn’t too bad. Need to try a long haul in the A330 to see if it works but I’ve tested it on a 2 hour flight in the A310 and other people are seeing the same thing. Apparently it’s logged as a fix in SU1

Yes i know. I mean about the root cause.

From what me and others have seen, yes. I’m currently flying Rome to Schiphol in it and I’ve done the whole setup manually so will see what happens

Today, my main panel floodlights aren’t working in the A330-200P2F RR. Don’t think I’ve had that problem before when flying at night

I think is a bug present on the A330-200 with Roll Royce Trent 700 but not on the CFM. Haven’t check if this apply for A330-300 too.

Quite possible. I can’t remember which ones I have flown at night and which ones I haven’t

I just need an American Airlines livery I can’t request one on flightsim.to because they won’t let me request anything anymore and it’s been months sense requesting anything

Landed in Schiphol and ended the flight back to the free flight world map no problem at all. Never managed to do that before so definitely works fine as long as you don’t press init request or confirm TO data. Do it all manually
