No flight control issues here. As for the sim rate issue, I found that 4x will work if using heading mode, but nav mode is strictly limited to 2x. Also, on second thought, I was probably a little too kind to iniBuilds in my last post, since none of their planes burn fuel in sync with accelerated sim rate, and most other developers seem to get this right. Their official position is basically that they’re investigating, but can’t promise anything.
The plane does not operate at sub-zero temperatures; the engines do not respond to revs.
Hi guys
Can someone make a Turkish Air Force skin ?
This happens with me as well.
For the rest, this in one of the underrated gems of MSFS2024 imho!
Is it possible to display maps on the ND?
I haven’t been able to display a map on the ND.
It’s just a basic map like the A320 etc. I don’t think you can see a map like the G1000, but I’m pretty sure the real life version has a full satellite map display
They missed the blinding rear Nav light so it’s no surprise this was missed!
I guess the beacon illuminating the cargo Bay isn’t realistic either…
Please if you can, post bugs here to get some attention from IB.
There’s two types of maps for display in the real aircraft. The same Terrain as a 3xx and a layer of digital maps that are not available in the MSFS version. There’s also a Terrain radar function available as an option IRL.
Can someone do a war thunder and post the manual of the real aircraft? Or at least tell me what the power ratings do?
they change the max thrust available for takeoff and cruise, in case of CLB (96%), MIL OPS (98%), LNC (Low Noise Cruise, 92%) and idle (LFI, Low Flight Idle, 4% instead of 20% for combat approaches)
Does anyone know how to get a proper flight director indicator on the PFD?
Power ratings in the A400 changes the NP and Max % are not a factor.
MIL OPS and DTO are not certified/working in the real aircraft.
LNC is mainly used in cruise to reduce vibration and noise.
LFI is used during steep approaches or when high descent profile is required.
Is there any specific limitation when using LFI?
Gracias!
As far as I know is not possible to use in take off but in normal ops is selected during descend to the landing phase without limitations. Other power ratings have different considerations.
What is the best way to get a smooth landing with this beast? When to flare and reduce throttle? My landings off end in quite a tough touchdown.
I’m guessing you want to carry some power onto the runway. Dash 8’s land this way because the prop wash over the wings generates lift, so pulling back to idle like you would in most jets causes a rapid loss of lift.
Not sure if it’s the same thing with the A400, but it seems plausible.
I’d like to see it with the German livery, and other European allies.
Around 30ft thrust levers to idle
