On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being best), how do you rate your Overall Enjoyment of this aircraft?
Something is odd with the OPT FL and MAX FL level on the progress page on
this aircraft (see the coffin corner already at FL360 despite MCDU saying “REC MAX 396”)
Despite of that, I did a flight and it was kite enjoyable. Not the best, not Fenix Simulations leve, but I think it was ok. (I don’t know so much about the real Beluga XL, let’s see if someone on this forum knows and can compare)
Regarding the external model（All of A330s and Beluga）: The engine blade rotation direction is reversed (absurd), and the wing flex on the left side is much stiffer than on the right side. Regarding the aircraft system（All of A330s and Beluga）: I have bound the control wheel, but it doesn’t work for turning; I can only use the rudder pedals (I have set the rudder pedals and control wheel to be separate in the tablet).
Yesterday I flew it on Xbox and the textures were atrocious. Meaning blurry, flashing and coming in and out. As I panned around the camera, the blue paint on the engine covers came & went, resulting in jagged gray triangles. There was also ghosting of the plane where you saw an outline of it overlayed off center of the plane. Very strange. Sim crashed before I could get screenshot
