It’s definitely not just you. When HPG issued their last update in December, they pretty well trashed the flight model. Microsoft gave the H225 to Inibuilds to fix, which I don’t find at all comforting given Inibuilds’ track record of (not) fixing their own aircraft. (Those they made for Microsoft, that is: the numerous default aircraft, Famous Flyers, and Local Legends.)

Should of been given to Taog imo
I live in Scotland, have had a career associated with the Energy industry, spent some time working on the Ramp with Super Puma’s (predecessor of the H225) and other types.
When it was highlighted as being part of the Premium Plus Deluxe (whatever it’s called) version it was the ONLY factor in choosing this.
Do I feel short changed by the very poor state of the aircraft and the lack of any coherent roadmap with a competent developer, yes! (you can imagine what I may write in a non age appropriate manner..)

It’s not just this aircraft. Many of the default aircraft, as well as others included in the Premium Deluxe edition, have bugs that leave them half-broken. So it’s completely understandable to be disappointed. Even though it’s been over a year and seven months since release, there are still aircraft that remain broken.

Worse is that this heli was good, now it isn’t.

The problem isn’t that they broke it.
It had work-arounds to make it 80% functional in the sim when it launched.
The sim has improved underneath it, now the work-arounds are no longer working around, and it needs to be updated to take advantage of the sim improvements.

Fourteen fixes for the H225 in Sim Update 6 and it still pitches up uncontrollably well short of its cruising, never mind maximum, speed.
It’s a bit like going to the doctor with a broken ankle and you end up getting your toenails trimmed.

wow.. not a single one of those makes the thing actually flyable. and what a surprise.. still no autopilot. we’re over a 1.5 years now.. FIX IT!!! or take it off the sim all together until it is fixed, I’m sick of looking at the stupid thing in the menu

From the SU6 update.
When MSFS2024 first launched, at least you could start a flight from cold and dark. Now you can only use Ctrl E.
Is it necessary to pay another €100 to be able to use a helicopter we have already paid for ?

No, it’s nothing but mockery directed at Asobo/MICROSOFT; they sold us a helicopter—supposedly available since the launch of MSFS 2024 for anyone who bought at least the Premium Deluxe edition.
Just try using the H225… and you’ll see!
Ohhh I thought someone had mentioned that to you phew (wouldn’t surprise me if they made us pay more for an upgrade or a fully finished version be 3rd party released)
If i was to recommend MSFS 2024 to anyone it would be base game only.
Considering its been 8months or so since HYPE gave up on the 225 I’m shocked that only cosmetics have been done so far.

HYPE passed the H225 to iniBuilds… and no wonder, they didnt fix it. They simply just dont take care about something, which is created under their brand.
At least, the helicopter now supports the in-game assistants. At least something.
Inibuilds probably spent all their time working on that 707. I don’t know how big their team is, but that thing looks like it took a while.
inibuilds are also working on other LL/FFs and their own products, they are not lacking things to do.
i thought they said Asobo in house was doing it?? either way.. it needs to be fixed
