Didn’t they just fall foul off licensing issues there though? Was it a technical disaster? I never flew it.
Going by what Jorg said in the last dev Q+A I didn’t get the impression there was great communication between Hype and Asobo. Reading between the lines I don’t get the impression many of the third party developers who made first party aircraft for FS2024 had a particularly great time making planes for the new sim.
I’m guessing and hoping that Hype are just waiting for the sim to stabilise before updating the H225. But it has been almost 6 months since launch.

has anyone found a fix for the collective/throttle for the 225? All i can do is use the throttle next detent and it acts like the collective goes to 100%.
Are you using buttons/keys or an axis?
The collective controls the blade pitch. Throttle should be left on max and handled by the governor for normal flying. You would only use it during startup, shutdown and if there is a failure.
‘set helicopter throttle axis’ is the correct assignment for throttle, ‘collective axis’ for collective.
How can i show the Pilots? No Pilots inside or outside.?
Hello Derf292,
H225 uses an autodirector, so - as long as it works - throttle is managed by collective. However if autodirector fails you should use throttle as well as collective to manage altitude.
This is the same as with most (all?) other helicopters.
Note that there seems to be a bug when you use throttle and then use the collective, throttle falls to zero for a while before collective takes over, leading to crash if you are too low.
Hope this helps
Regards
Nope still 0% collective or 100% on Xbox, H125 fine though
Please don’t forget to add the AP modules to the SU3, it is impossible to simulate like in the real world without them, no pilot makes a long trip without AP in this aircraft.

Would help if could get control of the collective

Cold and dark? Or even when you launch engines running?
For me, the collective doesn’t move until the engines are running and the hydraulics are on.

If I start either cold and dark or already running, I can only have either 0% or 100% collective, on Xbox with controller, all other helicopters I can increase the collective as usual with the A button

Hi RedFalconHunter,
There is a ‘‘huge’’ problem with the position of the H225 its pilot.
Look in the back (Cargo/Passenger cabin) and you will find your missing pilot

I’m experiencing the same issue with the collective when using an Xbox Wireless controller on PC, as reported by other users. The A and B buttons assigned to increase or decrease the collective do not function. I also attempted to adjust the collective using the mouse, but the lever is unselectable.
Currently, only the RB+A and RB+B combinations work, which abruptly set the collective to either 0% or 100%. This makes the H225 unflyable with gamepads in its current state. Please address this, as the helicopter model is otherwise very well made.

They have already said the AP modes won’t be in the update.
This is a real shame I think HPG is trying to punish Microsoft but I have no idea why.
H225 without AP modules is of no interest for me. I’ll remain stick with H160.

We can’t even get a properly working collective in all this time so I’m not holding my breath regarding the AP module, it’s a shame as this would be an amazing aircraft

HPG is intentionally tanking it. They had had a great AP in the H145 and H160 for ages!
I miss the EH101 in FSX from back in the day.
The LOD issues with missing cabins and figures in odd places really break the H225 for me. Even though it flies ok I guess.
It seems all the aircraft with a couple exceptions have bad LODs with broken textures, missing interiors, wing animations only working on one side, lights not showing, figures appearing outside the aircraft or sticking out of it. Its a mess.
I havent even bothered touching the new 787 or 747 fire bomber beacuse of this.
I just wish I could figure out why the cockpit view zooms in and out randomly in VR !
Maybe their take is that if (almost) everyone had an advanced helicopter included in the base sim, very few would buy external ones so the 225 should be a bare minimum good enough. You want advanced features? Buy our products!

It’s more likely that they are under a contract with MS/Asobo to deliver exactly what is stipulated in that contract, nothing more, nothing less, unless of course that contract gets amended with a change order. This may or may not be the case, it is just something to think about, that’s all. Cheers
