This has the same problem as in 2020, stay away, or better, update this heli nemeth!

What’s the best heli in your opinion of the ones that came with the sim?

I can turn off the fuel valve and shut the throttle and the engine keeps running indefinitely. BTW what is the best channel to report bugs to the devs?

If you fly it at night, the Garmin GNS530 GPS is dimmed so much you can’t even see the screen.

manual start doesn´t work … checklist moved to flight bag … :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Ok … Shift C works  to get in pilot seat and vice versa

Some weird things happens if you push or pull the cyclic excessively. Its a good way to question certain flight model things that this helicopter gets wrong!

Abide by the laws of physics, dont invent you own!

Weird things happen in real helicopters if you push or pull the cyclic excessively. What specifically are you referring to?

I find the 407 to be simple and stable, just like it was in 2020. I don’t think much has been done here with it to bring it up to ‘24 standards.

Well, if you try to push the cyclic all the way forward you’ll lose rudder stability. I it supposed to happen yes due to higher torque, but not that excessively and not that fast.

Well … the Bell

First … we now have dust fun for everyone ( who stands to close to helos )

Manual engine start up or shutdown only works halfway or not at all or I’m doing something wrong

The ground computing has increased so that there is a lot more to do

Fix the bugs and i vote 9 or 10

Chars are fun too :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

For me it’s completely broken, it doesn’t even start…

choose a heliport for start … then you start with a running system

I can get it to start, sort of, but the rotor never comes up to full speed, and most of the steam guages don’t work at all, just frozen in place. (Same in the H225, but at least that will start up and fly.) Even if I used the auto-start option in the 407, the RPM never comes up. The engine sounds also fade out to just barely audible. FS 2020 had the same issue with the 206, but at least in that one, the engine sounds would fade back in properly. This one doesn’t.

The manual start and shutdown process does not work yet, currently it only works if you start directly from a heliport or the runway. One can only hope that the upcoming updates will fix the whole thing.

There’s no door handle to click to enter the aircraft. As soon as I flip the battery switch, it just beeps endlessly. If I follow the startup procedure, it doesn’t actually start. It sounds like its starting and the blades spin but the sound eventually fades out to barely audible like another user mentioned in this thread!

It flies great if I start from the runway but that’s the ONLY way its flyable!

The wildly unrealistic torque spikes with cyclic input in hover make it awfully unpleasant to fly for me. To see what I mean, establish a stable hover and apply a hefty amount of lateral stick and note the equally hefty right yaw. This shouldn’t happen.

Seems the 407 has not really improved since 2020. I can recommend the new Robinson R66, flies really well.
