Yes, the 2024 version is still (I believe) pending updates before it’s good enough for the Marketplace. The 2020 version doesn’t need those updates.

Same here, in my opinion better that the 737 max anyway
The Dreamliners are my favorite default models. That said, the Max has come a LONG way in SU2 beta. I have been flying it back to back with the PMDG 738 and it really stands up as a default model, finally.

I own premium deluxe for fs2020 and have the base game for 2024, should I have access to the msfs2020 787 in msfs2024? It doesn’t show up in my library though, nothing I purchased in the Marketplace in 2020 shows up in 2024.
Are you looking in the aircraft selection window or the section of the Marketplace called “My Library”?

I also own premium deluxe for fs2020 and have the standard game for 2024. The B787 must be in Your library under 2020 PD products. You have to find it in the library and enable it every time you start the Sim. The same is for Dubai airport scenery, by the way.
Mine does not need enabling every session of the sim - you may be experiencing a bug

Are there ever going to be additional liveries for the Asobo 787 Dreamliner in MSFS2024? A knowledgeable gentleman informed me that the dimensions of the 787 changed slightly from 2020 to 2024 and that this change made the previous livery collections unusable. I understand that. But it’s now going on six months since release, and the only liveries are Korean Air and KLM. I see dozens and dozens of 2024 livery sets for the Airbus family and for the 737 Max. But nothing at all for the Asobo 787. Will there ever be additional liveries for the Dreamliner? I’m beginning to wonder.
Is there a wish list item for new liveries?
I would like the good old UNITED like in 2020 as they are the locals in charge at SFO where I fly. I believe the wire mesh frame is different in 2024 from 2020 (worse IMHO) so liveries have to be built anew. The new plane does fly well. I use the KAL livery and live with it.

It looks like they took the flag from some farmer protests in the last couple of years which turned the flag upside down 
Just a POSITIVE note that in the latest updates for the 787 there is this nice improvement in the Navigation Display (ND). This is the side view/altitude on this for example ILS into SFO.
Note how HEMAN shows up nicely in both views… on the right is a mountain on the far side of the runway… altitude barriers are in green…

For you 787 FanBoys out there like me, new livery… looks pretty smart IMHO:

I wish you can select what variant and configuration your flying like on the default a330, would make the 787 more interesting for me if I could fly all three variants

Yesterday and today it completely filled my VRAM.
Guess I was the first beta tester. Maybe they will fix it, but not clear how I give feedback… have other things to do but would like to see the UAL livery again.
Creator is JED STUDIO version is 0.1.0 so does sound Betaish.

The 2024 versions of the big Boeings are incredibly heavy on performance. It’s probably a challenge for livery makers to not make the aircraft even more of a performance hog

Have been in contact with the developer and this really is a first pass in 4K and more performance friendly to follow.

It’s performance it’s so bad stutters to the point were they are pauses. Last flight could not get the lnav to activate, it’s just rubbish.
