[MSFS2024] Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet

Do the Landing Lights work properly, i.e. show light in front of the plane? Same with the Nav lights? What’s wrong with the rear beacon tail light?

For some reason when I try and purchase the Vision Jet in the FS2020 marketplace the purchase is declined. I checked with my Bank and they said there is nothing being blocked on their end. I’ve tried choosing Paypal as well as a CC via the marketplace and both fail yet, again, it’s not the bank. I recently purchased FS2024 without any issues, so I’m a bit perplexed.

I’ve even tried logging out and back into my account, deleting the payment methods and re-adding them. No matter what I do, Microsoft seem to be rejecting my purchase.

Anyone have this happen? Is there a way of contacting Microsoft to find out what’s going on? Normally, I’d just buy the Vision Jet from another place, except you can’t. It’s got to be purchased via the Marketplace.

I seem to recall hearing that the payware version would become unavailable upon the VJ’s availability in 24, so that may have come to pass? Just a thought, somebody check me on that understanding.

Oh, if that’s the case, you’d think they’d remove it from the Marketplace. Having said that, I’m trying to purchase it from the FS2020 Marketplace, so I wouldn’t think the availability in FS2024 would make any difference to the availability in FS2020.

Landing lights not fixed :frowning:

Checklists are waiting for a sim bug to be fixed before they will display. Everything is included for them to work but for now the G3000 js code can’t read the checklist files. This bug causes problems with some other planes so hopefully should be fixed soon.

You don’t even need to copy it over. The paid 2020 FlightFX version shows up in my 2024 library as a supported addon. Just have to enable it.

I own the FlightFX 2020 version and it shows up in the 2024 Library as compatible with 2024 and once enabled I see both the MS version and the FlightFX version in the aircraft list.

If one already owned the FFX version before it was pulled from the MP for 24 (whatever licensing deal that was made), then yes, we too have it in 24 and 2020. Where it gets messy is those who had not purchased it before it got pulled to make way for 24, those folks may be stuck?

I don’t see how they can possibly remove it from 2020 just because it is available in 2024, and since owning it in 2020 gives it to you in 2024 I think you’re fine

The 2020 version is still available for sale in the Marketplace.

It’s for sale in the 2020 marketplace, however it keeps getting rejected when I try and purchase it. I guess I have no choice but to use the free one. It’s a shame.

Do you have enough MP Credits? Usually that’s part of the problem, or you have a previous purchase attempt that’s hanging up the current one. For that you can reach out to XBox Gaming support to see if they can clear it.

I just tried speaking to a so called Specialist (not a gamer) at XBOX gamer support, and he didn’t seem to understand that I’m not trying to purchase the game, but rather an aircraft from the marketplace. He gave me links to buy the game, asked me to try a different PC and browser. I’ve mentioned it heaps of times but he doesn’t seem to understand. And he’s supposed to be a specialist.

Make sure you are logged in to the correct Microsoft account for 2020

Can also try starting 2020 NOT as administrator

I think the reason different users are getting different responses is because the MS20 version is different than the MS24 version.

For instance, I have the MS20 version (FFx / MS Marketplace) enabled in MS24 and when flying it I do get the checklists as before - but in the MS24 version (Asobo) doesn’t have the checklist just the blank screen as shown above.

So, results vary whether you’re using the MS20 FFx vs MS24 Asobo version…

The FFx is more fully featured, i.e. V1, Vr, V2 speeds on the speed tape rather than just Vr on the Asobo version.

Also, FFx version appears to be bugged with FMS speed stuck in Mach and not showing IAS.

Not to take this off-topic, but that’s been the case for the longest time in 2020. I’m not sure that’s incorrect from a Cirrus Perspective Plus configuration.

I uninstalled MS20 so I can’t check, but I don’t remember that… that’s why it stood out now.

Checklists are fully functional on Xbox. I only have the default 2024 version.

The PFD GTC full/split screen icon displays the Checklist and the thumb wheel then functions properly. Nice feature. Strange that it doesn’t function on PC but there again, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised.

I verified it in both 2020 and 2024 after I read your post earlier today, the behavior is identical for the FFX Vision Jet.

Checklists on the EFB or on the PFD (split screen mode) where you can use the wheel to navigate and check them off?
