The TDI doesn’t have a separate entry in the aircraft list anymore. You have to select the 40NG and then “configure” it into the TDI variant.
Maybe that’s the problem you’re having?
Only just flew the TDI in 24 fo the first time and it seems to work well enough so far. Appearently has a small bug in that the prop doesn’t stop spinning when you turn off the engine, but otherwise the first flight was all fine and dandy.

Correction, prop DOES stop spinning after engine off, however, fuel transfer from AUX to MAIN tank seems to have problems again (as it did in early FS2020 as well).
The heading bug on the dirctional gyro does not work as intended. You can move it around with the heading selector knob but it moves in relation to the physical instrument instead of the compass card. So if you are heading N and also set the heading bug pointing straight up (towards the N of the compass card) and initiate a turn, the heading bug remains pointing straight up while the compass card below rotates. That makes no sense. The heading bug should be move with the compass card.
The voltage readout on the far right instrument does not work - it always shows 0.0 volts when switching to it. (The instrument also displaying the temperature)
In the 2020 Version this worked without problems.
Another issue I have with 2024 version is the solid sunshield which was perforated in 2020 which looked much better - I assume the 2024 TDI version is a repurposed non TDI version which correctly should have the solid sunshield.
Trim is somehow not existent. You have to trim it, but at the end you simply set the trim to 0 position. You don’t need to trim much. If that’s true, I don’t know if this is a bug or not. Usually when you fly cruise speed, you have to set the trim. But in this case you will trim your DA40 TDI in takeoff position.
The Gyro Drift is crazy. You turn 360, and then you have a drift of 30-40 degree after level up. Is that right?
The Caution Warning Panel does not work. It’s simply a black panel.
ECU Test does nothing.
Asobo, why you never fix your aircraft? I mean those are small fixes, like 2-3 hours. It seems to me, after you release them, you just dont care. I am not going to buy any other aircraft, before you fix those which are released.
I payed for the Aviator Edition, and who could raise his hand and tell me, which aircraft really works? None, not a single one works as it should. Each of available aircraft have some illness. I am not speaking of 3rd party devs, no. I am speaking about your own fleet.
I am considering to get my money back from steam. Every time you guys slap me in my face, thats not right.
