There is no indication thus far that there will be a MSFS 2028.
Hmmm… I guess they want/need to make some money. With a new sim they can make us pay again.
And it’s ok for me.
hypothetical…
I took the 2028 more as a metaphor for “the next time” ![]()
And yes…it’s sad but true, most of the candy that made me buy the premium deluxe is more or less abandoned (to this day).
is the cargo hold on the PAX variant invisible for anyone else?
Hi folks. I’m trying out this plane after keeping it in my hanger for over a year now to see if it’s any better. However, why am I getting the taxi map on the ND? I highly doubt this plane had this feature in real life but I can be wrong. Is there a way to turn the map off?
Try turning the knob in the circle.
And there is an unsatisfactory bug that hasn’t been fixed yet.
The HSI course deviation indicator, which displays the GPS route, is always fixed facing forward.
Are there any AAU scale updates planned for this plane?
Updates to default aircraft don’t typically get announced in that way, not unless it’s a complete overhaul (essentially a new version of the aircraft) like when we got the A320neo V2 or the Aviator edition aircraft are becoming 2024-native.
Aight understood
Jorg stated the first AAU planes would be “payware planes”, essentially meaning LL and FF planes, that hadn’t been planned to be upgraded to 2024 status. But the series is also about avionics upgrades, too. I would also argue that the SAAB 340B IS a payware plane… It’s part of the Premium Deluxe package, and users can pay for it individually, too. To that point as well, Jorg only said they were going to “Start” with payware planes, I didn’t hear that statement rule out default planes from possibly being upgraded someday. In fact, the way I heard him say it, he implied it could be a possibly any plane might get a serious upgrade.
Obviously, too, tons of planes have been getting some pretty major and minor updates just as part of the SU’s.
All that being said, to answer @Starliner3169 ‘s question, no, what you said, there’s been no mention of the SAAB 340B being updated or upgraded. Given it’s already 2024 Native (I think… right?), it would be an avionics upgrade I imagine if it were to be part of an AAU (if it even needs that). It being a Carenado plane, yeah, I could see it possibly needing a good avionics upgrade (flight model would likely just be done as part of an SU update), unless it’s already got a WT avionics package. In which case it just needs to be fixed?
Oh believe me, it needs significant avionics update at the minimum.
There is still no assignment for the engine condition lever?
Is the inverter switch still not working? Also there is no movement on this DC ELEC Ampere/Volt display, with external power or when the engine is running?
And i can not set the altitude for the autopilot, when i rotate the knob.
And why i have a red stripe on my altimeter gauge and altimeter setting display?
Thanks!
From what I have confirmed, all the gauges shown in the screenshot are working.
My only complaint and bug is that the GPS HSI direction indicator is fixed forward no matter which direction it is facing.
Please fix this.
Hmmmm
I will try it again tomorrow…
Thanks for checking!
Did you have power yet? I’m pretty sure you need to have at least essential power on in order to set the altitude, or for the altimeter (and other gauges) to work. I’m pretty sure the inverter switch is still stuck in one position, although if you use external software you can manipulate it – but it might not be animated. The condition lever can also be bound using external software, but not natively as far as anyone has found.
I still fly this plane from time to time because it’s fine for me, using Axis and Ohs.It flies okay, I love the UNS-1, and sometimes it just fits my mood. But I’ve given up on it getting any significant improvement. Which is sad, because it was one of my most anticipated planes for the sim.
The Saab 340 was on power and i was flying around, but i had this problem with the altimeter and altitude display and DC ELEC display… ![]()
Hmm.. can’t say I’ve seen that in the air lol
Its overall very resource intensive plane, from default planes I would rank it at top since it performs worse than some of the airliners. It would really benefit from some performance improvements, was quite sad to see none in SU5 changelogs
