This glider doesn’t work at all in FS24. The tow plane, when signalled, simply turns 90 degrees to the left and sits there going nowhere. So you can’t actually take off.

If you try a winch, it can’t build enough speed to get you off the ground.

I’ve just flown this in 2024 SU4 [v1.6.34.0], so it appears that they have fixed the issue:

The one issue I noticed on my first flight in this aircraft is that although this is a glider, it is classified as an airplane when configuring controls:

So one cannot map the Tow Plane / Winch Release control to anything (as it falls within the “Gliders” control category, so is unavailable as an option). The cable can be released by the lever in the cockpit using the mouse, though.
