Where is it? It‘s missing in the aircraft selection menu.

Can’t find it either.

Edit: Okay found it, it is one variant of the Shock Ultra, just a bit confusing.

so much better than the shock ultra though, its all working and flies nicely.

It took me an absurdly long time to realize that the Savage Ultra was considering the Savage Cub as a variant, which it’s not.

So until that silly issue affecting a lot of streamed aircraft is resolved, I have no reason to rate the Savage Cub positively.

I was almost convinced that it wasn’t included with the sim at all.

Come on, Asobo. Who decided to ship a simulator that hides modules from sight like that?

I tried this aircraft last night for the first time, and after the buggy mess that is the NX Cub my hopes were not high. Not sure either why it is grouped with the Shock Ultra, which is a completely different plane. Luckily the basics worked, although the wing fuel gages seemed to be stuck on “full”, I couldn’t find a fuel selector switch (does it have one?), and my tail number wasn’t displaying. Are those known issues?

Yep. I like the plane but the fuel issues are long standing.

What really is missing is an option to choose between gauges displaying knots/mph and kph. kph don‘t feel right.

One of my favorite planes to fly. Just adding to confirm the issue, especially those picking this as their starting aircraft for WhereToNext:

  • Fuel only leaves the right tank, however you still need fuel in both tanks to start the engine.

  • The pilot weight is never passed to the EFB, although leaving the aircraft and getting back in will send the correct weight to the SDK.

    Asobo, please fix this!

Has the fuel issue been fixed yet? I really can’t believe one of the most basic aircraft in the sim still has such glaring bugs over a year since release.

This is also my favorite plane for VFR flights to explore an area. What I‘m doing in the sim is using planes like the Piper Dakota or Beechcraft C90 for longer interstate flights and beauties like that to have an better eye on an area I find interesting. It‘s just really sad even smaller bugs are left untouched for a longer time. Maybe it would be great if a second development studio could maintain all the base planes and help Asobo which is very busy in optimizing the core of the sim?

There are already over a dozen first party partner developers which are tasked with work on the sim, including the development and bug fixing of default aircraft.
