ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Multiplayer name tags are disappearing when a player is more than 5km away from you. I’ve not seen a soul in the beta until I did some flying with a friend tonight and that’s when the bug became apparent.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start a flight, preferably with a friend to test

  2. Have the friend fly more than 5km away from you and watch their name tag disappear

Voted. This is definitely a regression that has happened since it was boosted up to 100 miles from the original 5 and now seems to be back to 5

It also has another element to it which is if they are in an add-on they won’t show up at all

I noticed that during the MS Community flight on Friday as well. The nameplates were only visible from a distance of about 10 km, but on the EFB map, the multiplayer aircraft were visible from greater distances. And there were only 3 multiplayer aircraft, so there was no hiding due to a large number.
