Why my udate is 33GB? It should be around 18GB. I have the Premium delux version. My internet speed is 25Mbits/sec. it will take ages. Oh well let’s see a movie or two…

Mine was 33 GB as well. There was a lot added and changed in this update.
This is the correct size. There will be another ~3GB in the content manager once core upgrade is completed.

I think 18GB is the additional space required.

That’s strange, I did have AIG installed and I knew that it changed one file in the sim but I corrected that and my community folder is empty
Yep, it’s a big one. I’m lucky as I have 1gig Internet speed, so big file that don’t seem so daunting. Let’s see what it has to offer 
I use AIG as well, I renamed my community folder so I dnt have to move re do all addons then fired the sim it created a new empty community folder… reboot pc proceeded to update I have steam version

How’s the download speeds? its it slow as usual? I bloody hate SU updates and why are they so bloody massive each time?
It said some updates failed so will have to reboot after installing the extra 3.6 Gb in content manager 
no doubt there be more downloads inside the content manager once the initial update finishes.
It would be appreciated if in the future, all the additional new airports are optional. Now, I am forced to download airports I will never visit them. For me it is important because judging by the SU size of the MSFS, my 1TB SSD will be filled in two years.

I wouldn’t hold you breath, and that would be a coding nightmare. SSD drives are dirt cheap now, what’s it matter. I’d imagine the growth rate should slow soon…
My update keeps freezing and I have to restart the sim. 33GB luckily doesn’t go too slow for me, but I just have to keep an eye on it to make sure the sim keeps it going. Really looking forward to this update, it just sucks it comes out the day before I have to start a new work week 
Yep. I get no more than 27Mb/s as always. Any other game maxes out my bandwidth, but not this one. 
It has gone quite fast for me, then you have to download and install 3 Gb from the content manager, it has not been very slow

There’s the space that the update will take up once installed, the total amount of data that you will download during the update, and the amount of space you will need on your drive while the update is in process. These 3 amounts are frequently very different from one another.
There’s no problem.
