@Neo4316 Good call on that. I wasn’t aware there was a different throttle axis. So it does kind of work, but the illustration on screen is messed up.
So this is the input I changed it to, as you suggest.
Now for the response curve, and this is where it gets weird. I currently have my TQ6 at the idle position, shown by the dot highlighted with the red arrow. However, where I have neurtral configured, shown in the yellow area, is where I cross over into neutral. The white dot should be in the yellow area!
I have to reverse the axis, otherwise forward is reverse thrust. But the neutral part is at the wrong end, it should be at the top right, but it behaves in the sim as if it were.
So now for two images for comparison. Left is showing idle, the right is showing full reverse at 15%.
You can see there is very little difference between the two, and in fact I have more left on that axis, more in fact than the different between 0%, and -15%.
I’m about to try the Caravan out with this config, and I’m sure it will work, I just have a lot more left on that axis that doesn’t seem to be used.
Okay, it does work quite well, but the difference between -59%, and -58% is just enough forward thrust to inch along, and just enough reverse thrust to change the audio to indicate reverse thrust is engaged, but so little, around -1% that you don’t move backwards. Getting it dead on 0% might require -58.5%, so I may try hand editing the text file in case it allows for this.
Clearly there is still more work to be done here.
