Try sitting the distance of searching for flights higher. You will have more airports to choose from.

Think you’ve misunderstood me.

Right-click the mission you want and choose “Fly” from the pull-down. Do not use the “Fly” button at the bottom. I think that is for hires.

ok thank you

A new update has just been released.

Really liking this program, thank you for all the work! One question: I can’t seem to square up passenger numbers with weight, to get the green light. I tried flying a 747 mission requiring 474 passengers. I assumed that each passenger is 170 lbs, but when I inputed that number into the plane, I still never got a green light. I was able to get the green light for the cargo weight requested. But I can’t figure out how to “load” 474 passengers to get a green light. Thanks!

I’ll look into that tomorrow. The pax ‘should’ go green straight away if you select the 747. You dont load passengers, only payload/cargo.

Do you have a screen shot?

Here’s a similar capture, not of the 747 but of the TBM. I know the aircraft listed is the SR22, but that’s because I don’t “own” the TBMin the NeoFly hangar. Anyway, as much as I played around with passenger/weights, I couldn’t get the PAX light to go green. Thanks for taking a look!

I had something similar to this once. The two payload numbers below were matched as you have, but I had to one more lb to get it to trigger. I added 0.5 to each of two passengers.

I assumed a rounding error, or somesuch.

OK, youre not going nuts there is a bug… to work around it… When you click fly and connect, the pax light will be red. Now click end mission. Then Fly & Connect again and your pax light should turn green and you can do the mission.

Thanks for looking! Hmmm, that workaround doesn’t seem to work. I think I’m doing something wrong. Attached are two screenshots. Tried a 787. Again assumed that each passenger weighs 170 pounds. Not sure if the PAX number includes the co-pilot, but I tried this a few ways and got nowhere. Thanks again! Don’t worry too much, it’s not urgent, just appreciate that you built this great program.

The weight just needs to be greater than what is stated in the brief. It doesn’t matter if it’s weight of people or cargo.

Another work around could be to let AI fly any other planes you have at that ICAO… So you just have the 747 available… Then try again

Ohhh. I’ve just spotted it’s the Dreamliner not the 747. The Dreamliner only has 299 seats… That’s why it’s red.

Would love IF EKCH and ESSA could have airliner missions. Otherwise very impressed of and highly entertained by this software. Superb and fast work.

Hello,

I’ve used previous versions of NeoFly but unfortunately, the newest version does not work on my PC. Whether I use the installer folder or just download the zip folder and use 7zip, the program does not work. I click on the exe file and nothing happens. I do like this program and the last version that I had (1.4?) worked great. However, this version doesn’t even start on my PC. Thanks.

UPDATE: I did check discord and found there were a couple of other users with the same problem I have encountered but no solution (at least that I could find). However, I did find someone who posted a link to NeoFly 1.3.4 version which I downloaded. It works fine. I find it odd that any version of NeoFly 2.+ (including the recent 2.2) will not work on my PC but prior versions do. Oh well, I’ll stick with the earlier version and still enjoy the program.

I usually just download the ZIP file of this, but this time I tried the installer.

I’ve noticed that I can now no longer get into my “C:\ProgramData\Packages” folder. The only other thing I have installed is the hotfix for MSFS, but that has never touched that folder before.

Anybody else get this?

Even running Explorer.exe as admin blocks me from getting in to that folder now.

Never mind, I was thinking about a different folder, the one in your use profile. Time for bed, clearly!
