Thanks for the input @DensestSnail693 ! i definitely had a freeze or two on 496.76, but reviewing now, i may not have restarted my PC after turning the HAGS off, which was required. Since then, i’ve restarted my PC to ensure that HAGS is turned off, and I have been on 497.26. So far, i’ve played MSFS a few times with no freezes or CTD. It could have been the HAGS. I may try going back to the latest as other have reported that it has been stable for them, though they seem to say even with HAGS on, it is ok. but for me 511.65 and the version before that were freezing or CTD almost every time I flew (usually about 10-20 min into the flight, but sometimes right after loading up).
It was almost always freezing when i was quickly moving my POV around, either with my mouse or using the HAT button on my Saitek x52 stick to move my POV.
with FSE down long term for their major upgrade i haven’t been playing much, but will test it a few more times with short flights before i try any more long FSE flights only to have my heart broken as i roll off the runway, look around and freeze it up after a long flight before i can get the flight logged…
