Flying Iron FW-190 has CFD, NPS and SBS,
MSFS 2024 list?
Cheers
PACO572
I’ll keep updating, the current list still applies for 24. Cheers
Thanks for the list. If you are still updating it, the Grumman Albatross (HU-16E & G-111) in MSFS 2024 Deluxe Edition supports both CFD and NPS, see here Grumman Albatross HU-16/G111 Thread - #515 by Ramasurinen
I guess this thread is no longer being updated? Shame, I’d really like to know what the status of the different planes’ flight models are, especially now that we have another, potentially significant, element (inertia tensor).
Good point. I have bought many planes since, for 2024/2024 compatible, and haven’t added anything to this thread.
I will try to find time to go over my current planes, and upload some data when I can.
You da man!
I had to tinker with my script a bit due to the new format of 2024 planes.
So there is one column which shows the plane, and its developer, and the second column shows the “model” of the plane, as the new format allows for multiple, in slightly different folder structures. Hopefully this makes sense. I had edited some of the names if they were particularly obtuse.

The Aerosoft CRJ uses CFD as well. It’s flight characteristics are highly endorsed by a real CRJ pilot, and it’s personally so fun to fly now.
The CFD simulation seems to work with all aircraft now, including 2020 ones.
eg: AH B25J is 2020 but 2024 compatible and CFD works Aeroplane Heaven North American B-25J Mitchell - #230 by Sonicviz
Or was that always the case?
The Inibuilds A350 also uses CFD (and it seems that’s not the only aircraft of theirs that does this), big props to them for that.
If that hadn’t have been a jet I could have thrown in a well simulated props joke as well. ![]()
