Unusual to see a US airport not done by sister company Glideslope Pro. It looks much better than the ageing Orbx rendition.

Is this generally a good and reliable dev company? I see they have quite a few airports available that get good ratings.

Yes, he’s one half of Glideslope Pro. I own two airports from him: Catania LICC and Genoa LIMJ and they’re both very nice. He also pushes out updates regularly.

The customer service I’ve personally received from this developer has always been good. Projects don’t get abandoned.

Yes, includes both old and new terminals (and presumably will be updated when the former gets demolished).

How does it compare to the v2 update from Orbx?
I don’t have either but it looks a lot better (although I do prefer Orbx’s grittier (albeit lower-res) texturing). The inclusion of the new terminal in BMOTW’s certainly offers a degree of future-proofing.

Love Beautiful Model of the World KBUR compared to ORBX’s KBUR v2.
Wishing for a Beautiful Model of the World San Jose KSJC with interiors as the ORBX 2024 KSJC is simply a MSFS 2020 port over to MSFS 2024 and has zero interiors and extra details unlike a Beautiful Model of the World KSJC would have.

I even didn’t know there’s KSJC for MSFS2024 by Orbx. I bought the 2020 version long time ago (actually it was one of my first purchases) on Marketplace and I’ve just checked and that version is streamed to my MSFS2024. There’s no sign of MSFS2024 version there though, so I guess I must go directly to Orbx for that. Weird.

If it’s not the 2024 version already, it’ll be because it takes Orbx products an eternity to hit the MP — but with these 2024 ports, they just appear without notification, so it could be the newer version?
It’s really strange one. I’ve found that this MSFS2024 version of KSJC is quite old, one year or something. And still it’s not on MP. So I just bought KSJC 2024 on Orbx and disabled that one in MP. It was on sale and quite cheap, anyway.
