New release: Beautiful Model of the World Hollywood Burbank KBUR (FS2024 only?)

Version 1.2.0 was released on April 20, 2026. It includes the 4 stacks, Portal of the folded wings, McDonald’s, Dennny’s and Del Taco. Old Terminal and hangars have improved textures and facade details added.

Just bought this one. Is it me or is the ground / baggage carts at every gate SWA? Is that accurate?

Today there were numerous aircraft at the under construction new terminal. Would be very hard to get to.

Every gate? Probably not, although it is a major SWA hub, with over 50% of PAX at KBUR flying SWA. Alaska and United also have a number of routes going there.

I’m talking about the under construction new terminal in the northeast quadrant. It’s not finished but it was loaded with airplanes

What traffic injection are you using? It’s not entirely unusual to park aircraft at an incomplete terminal (they’ve been doing it at EDDF’s new T3 for years, till it finally opened last week) but the dev will have had to provisionally make the stands available as a pre-emptive measure.

I have no injector and there are no aircraft parked there now at the actual airport.

I have to be honest, I’m confused as to your complaint.

I’ll go back and check but it seemed to every gate I looked at had SWA baggage carts staged on the ramp. UAL flies out of Terminal B so I expected to see some of their stuff here and there but there was nothing.

The image shows the under construction terminal on the left with aircraft parked. The current terminal is straight ahead.

But my point is, without knowing how you’re injecting that traffic (in other words, what’s putting it there), no one can really comment.

Something is putting those aircraft there, whether it be default or third party injection, or a mod such as LVFR’s Airport Static Aircraft. No one can help you unless you specify which.

The gax profile is for Orbx. As I have stated I don’t have any injectors I must be using default.

The default injection will place aircraft far more randomly because it only reads stand data based on wingspan. There’s nothing you can do about it. To see aircraft using stands realistically, you need something like BATC which, although bound by the same limitations, uses historical averages to emulate real-world ops.

This implies that the basic addon software has the stands activated even though the building isn’t finished which is the real problem. The last takeoff I did had the the unfinished building full of aircraft and none at the current terminal.

What were they supposed to do? It would be a big job going back in just a few months and redoing all the stand radii. They rightly chose to do it on a pre-emptive basis. As I said, if you don’t want to see aircraft parked there, you should use a mod that reads real-world stand allocation data.

This is more an Asobo problem than a BMOTW problem.

KBUR. The new terminal isn’t totally complete since airline gate assignments aren’t known.

Is there any info out there on taxi patterns? The airport has a weird layout with RWY 8 being directly adjacent to the ramp. When landing, it seems that I can just slow down and take a right onto the ramp but I noted that the runway lights are in the way. Am I supposed to go to the end, take a left and then backtrack on the far taxi-way before recrossing RW8 to get to the ramp?

Same thing with the taxi out to RW15. BATC has aircraft going nearly to the end, then crossing over 15 prior to getting to the end of the runway and then lining up.
