Dear SU-57 lovers, soon will be released a new update; just to avoid the problems that we had with SU7, i’ll wait the release of the official SU8 in order to double check that all is fine and working correctly.
What’s new ?
Wrong name for Landing lights Corrected;
Sonic Boom Vapor Added;
WingTip and GLoad vapors;
Acrobatic Smokes (several color);
Cargo Bay doors now can be opened;
Day/Night HUD option;
Flight Model Improved;
Aircraft Shaking Reducete quite to 0 when flying with full assistance helpers (if you fly in difficult mode the plane il like the blade of katana);
Other various issue that SU57 lovers reported to me.
Spoiler alert, sometimes it’s more fun to experience these firsthand so if you already have this aircraft, maybe wait a little bit and try it out yourself instead of watching this. For those unable to put your curiosity aside:
In testing the updated Felon, it seemed to me the aircraft was overstressing easier than what I would have expected. However, if you replicate the situation where you overstressed the aircraft, I ask to notate 2 things. 1.What speeds were you flying at 2. How many G’s were you pulling at the time of the overstress
If you know the answer to the speeds you were going, and you know the answer to the G’s you were pulling, would you be able to provide one real life example of a pilot/aircraft going those speeds pulling the same Gs without the pilot blacking out or aircraft falling apart?
If you prefer to fly more game like than sim like, MSFS 2020 offers the users the ability to turn off overstress in the assistance menu.
It’s annoying having to turn off or on the overstress depending on the aircraft though.
I like the new vortex effects btw except for the one where is lots of little spouts all over the top of the aircraft body and wings. It just looks artificial. I feel like if the spouts were blurred it might be better. Like make the edges more amorphous and blurred.
Hello, I have a problem, I purchased the aircraft around december 2021 and for some reason now it won’t show up anymore in my content manager, it’s as if I never bought it, could you help me out?
In case you are not aware following SU9 the FPS suffers huge drops everytime a high G manouvre instigates a vortex trail. My FPS drops from the 60s to the teens. The same problem exists in your Mig29 (and Asobo’s F/A-18 - see bug report on this forum). Hope you can fix it as unusable at the moment.
Hi I just want to say I love the su 57 10/10 my favorite plane! Great job! But can you please please please make it more maneuverable not to point we’re it’s like rotating a 3d model but more like how it is in real life it’s to stiff and should be able to do thing like cobra maneuver and hover like it used to. I have a lot of other people saying the same thing please and thankyou!
At autopilot and weather wind layer there is very slight shake. Disabling wind layer does not remove shake. After removing wind layer, I have to disengage autopilot and re-enable autopilot. This removes the aircraft shake.
Also please there should be some visual indications on the buttons like AP, AT etc. that they are engaged.
Just an observation, when I press the control of the plane, the pilot’s avatar appears, but it makes it impossible for me to access the control knob for zooming in and out of the map panel.
It would be possible to enable the disappearance of the command as it was before. perhaps by clicking on the base of it.
Just wondering, will the test pitot on the nose of the aircaft will eventually be removed? I’m pretty sure the Production model doesn’t have it, it was only for the prototype(s).
Final question / request for me, do you also plan to have the aircraft texturing “refreshed/improved” at some point? the aircraft fuselage rivets are quite extreme/heavy.
Yes, i’ll continue to update and inprouve all the older planes… once jas is completed i’ll ilrouve all the interior textures and exterior also for su57
Thank you for your work. I realy enjoy this bird. its exotic and fun to pilot. with the last update it s more stable on flight. It would be nice to have some new liveries without test pitot tube.
