Compatible with the Brazil WU but not sure about Paulo Ricardo’s Santos Dumont.
I asked on Dan‘s Discord, he said it’s compatible with Paolos Santos Dumont ![]()
Is there an early buyer discount code for this one? Asking for my wallet…. ![]()
RIODFFLYERDIRECT
But don’t tell anyone
I don’t mind that these codes spread via word of mouth in the slightest but if you want them straight from the source, all new releases are always 20% off on my site for the first week. Codes always posted in my Discord
Yes! And world update 19 which I highly recommend installing with this add-on. Side note: I haven’t verified this yet but it looks an awful lot like the world update 19 includes Paolos Santos Dumont?
No, the WU19 airport is by Gaya, and there are some subtle differences. But I expected your Rio to work fine with Paulo’s airport since all he basically did to make it WU19-compatible was remove his city (same with Congonhas).
Both sceneries, Gaya and Paulo Ricardo, appear to be compatible with Dfflyer. However, in the Gaya version, a number of taller buildings have been modelled on the landside behind the terminal. Understandably, Dfflyer has not modelled these buildings to avoid any overlap. As a result, the transition from the airport to the city looks more pleasing in the Gaya version. In Paulo Ricardo’s version, there are first a few photogrammetry buildings, followed by Dfflyer’s (once again very beautiful) scenery. It’s a bit of a shame, as I much prefer Paulo Ricardo’s version.

Must admit, I’m a bit underwhelmed by this one. All the modelling is concentrated in a single area (downtown, by Santos Dumont Airport), with nothing on Ipanema/Copacabana. Night-lighting also isn’t as impressive as Dfflyer’s other work, though that could be the nature of the city.
Since it’s the priciest of them al, it doesn’t feel as well-rounded as, say, Montreal (which I was pretty pleased with).
