So for my first flight to EPKT I copied WZZ route EDLW - EPKT, just instead of A320 I chose the new Maddog 20th Edition addon. And I’m really happy with the purchase, it’s the DD top quality. They set a new bar with their EPWA and they keep on delivering.
For me, Drzewiecki has been one of the absolute top developers for quite some time now. And I think they get a little better with every airport. Katowice has very high-resolution ground textures, a beautiful interior, very good night lighting and a great performance. It is another airport by Drzewiecki that ranks high on my list of favourites. There are very few airports that offer a similarly photorealistic experience. You really forget that this is a computer simulation. Once again, great work!
Got this airport last night and I’m very impressed. Drzewiecki have for me long been in the list of top MSFS devs but they’ve always been just outside the circle of the top four or five. EPWA put them closer than ever but I think EPKT now places them alongside the likes of Jo Erlend, Pyreegue, MK and Flightbeam. So many developers have truly excelled in 2025 (I can’t make this point without mentioning RW Profiles, IniBuilds and SLH) and the list of absolute top-tier devs is now quickly getting longer.
Dunno if you guys found the Easter egg in one of the hangars? Nice touch! Night-lighting is also particularly strong but to be honest, that’s not to suggest there are any real weaknesses. Okay, it’s an expensive airport but I think we’d all rather pay a little more to get exceptional quality? There are plenty of mediocre airports fetching only £2-3 less.
