New release: PhotoRico San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín TJSJ (FS2020 & 2024)

Not actually released yet but very close. Looks better than it did during beta testing.

PhotoRico have a good reputation for adding a lot of surrounding detail and it looks like they aren’t about to disappoint in that department.

Finally it’s time to upgrade from LVFR’s mediocre rendition… I have their Isla Grande airport and I love it.

The page says '24 only.

My link was specifically to the 2024 version. It will be for both.

Looks miles better than the LatinVFR one, can’t wait for this one! We need a good FLL now…

Looking forward to this dropping on ORBX on the 7th of Feb-love all of PhotoRico’s other Puerto Rican airports like TJIG, TJMZ, TJPS.

Might do a flight from KRSW to TJSJ!

That looks great. I actively avoid flying into TJSJ right now, I look forward to picking this one up.

I thought (hoped) it’s a way closer. I didn’t know Orbx “announces” products so early before release.

PhotoRico saying it’s releasing in accordance with Orbx (i.e. Australian) time, so likely late tonight (6th) in Europe and early-to-mid-afternoon in the States.

Hoping to hear positive feedback about this airport. I have the LVFR TJSJ which is not great. Don’t know this developer so want to hear / read some reviews first.

I’ve purchased it, so I’ll share my first impressions probably tomorrow. I have their Isla Grande airport and I love it. I’m 100% sure this will be a lot better than LVFR’s rendition, which I happily uninstalled now.

Purchased it too and def 1000% better than LVFR’s one.

As an owner of Photorico’s TJPS, TJIG and TJMZ TJSJ perfectly completes Puerto Rico airport-wise for me alongside SLH’s TJCP..

Currently doing a flight in the American Fenix A319 to KJFK from TJSJ.

So I took United 737-900ER (PMDG) out of Houston KIAH to this new TJSJ rendition and there’s one happy chappy over here. Ok, it’s not MK Studios or Pyreegue or Flightbeam top top quality but still pretty awesome. As @amarks1 said, it’s not 100% better than LVFR’s obsolete version but 1000% better.

If I recall correctly this was my first time flying RNAV into RWY26, I’ve always landed at this airport on one of those east-bound runways equipped with ILS. And the approach was breathtaking - I like how they treated the close vicinity of the airport. The ground textures are generally great (taxiways and runways), there are only some blurry textures at the airside here and there. But that’s noticeable only when flying around with a drone. The terminal where I stood had also pretty good interior and the jetways were custom. Nice! Performance was smooth, it looks really well optimised. Finally a great base for my caribbean flights. Recommended!

So I pulled out Maddog for another flight with this airport as origin and as lighting conditions changed I’ve taken some more screenshots. I like the scenery a lot.

Picked this airport up last night in the Marketplace sale (30% off) and it’s better than I expected. The streams I saw right after release didn’t convince me but I was aware it’d received a QoL update shortly after release. Agree with @mhron that it’s not Pyreegue or MK quality but it’s certainly very good if you don’t plan on nosying around the landside areas (which are a little weak).

Performance for me could be a touch better — I experienced a bit of stuttering on my first arrival, which was very noticeable after using TaiModel’s excellently-optimised VOBL (a much bigger and busier airport) only an hour or so earlier.
