Guensey Airport EGJB

I’m thinking about this one as it looks fantastic.

Looks superb that does.

Looks excellent and good to see that they give you a performance benchmark, I wish more Devs did this. I’ll be getting this when I get back home.

Be forewarned if you are thinking about ordering this scenery. I did a few months ago, and just today, and both times instead of Guernsey, I received a link for the Channel Islands package, which I already own. (In fact I have all four of their sceneries except Guernsey). The first time I notified them through their website, and after receiving no response for over a week, was forced to reverse the charges. If I do not receive a positive response from RealVFR within 7 days I will reverse the charges again.

'Nuff said.

I’m not sure what you mean. But I own Guernsey (the only scenery I own from them) and the installed folder is named realvfr-the-channel-islands. Quite confusing but it includes EGJB scenery.

Then that’s what I would call ‘misleading marketing’. Because I purchased the Channel Island add-on for 2020 when it was actually called Channel Islands. So from what you are saying, they’ve renamed it Guernsey for no good reason. If that is in fact the case, then I’ve only paid for a 2024 upgrade to an airport/area I owned in the previous sim. But they might have said so in the first place. And the lack of response to enquiries does not inspire confidence. Life brings a little lesson each day, I suppose.

That Guernsey airport EGJB is a MSFS2024 product, quite new. It’s only the folder name that’s confusing. Guernsey is actually one of the channel islands, isn’t it?

It is indeed, and that’s what makes it all the more confusing. The Channel Islands pack in 2020 (and evidently 2024 as well) is more than just the Guernsey airport, it includes Guernsey isle features, plus the islands of Jersey and I believe Sark and St. Ann. Repackaging it and calling it just Guernsey airport is quite misleading, IMO, and isn’t truly descriptive of the product.

Well, no matter, I would have bought the 2024 upgrade and now I have it. I will do much better due diligence with any of their future offerings.

Thanks for helping clear that up.
