Another airport we already have two versions of (Centralsim & VueloSimple), however you’d expect this to be the best on release (and Sierrasim also develop separate 2024-native versions). Judging by the last image, it seems they’re included some of the surroundings. There’s a city pack (dev name escapes me) that should go nicely with it.
Shoot, I bought VueloSimple SABE about three weeks ago! ![]()
I also own the Vuelosimple version. Judging by the screenshots, I’d say the Sierrasim version is slightly better. But not by much. I prefer the Sierrasim textures, and there’s more clutter on the apron. The statue in the last screenshot is also modelled in the Vuelosimple version. In my opinion, Vuelosimple and Sierrasim generally model at a similar level of quality, with perhaps a slight edge to Sierrasim. But the biggest advantage of Sierrasim is likely to be the native 2024 version. Mainly because the Vuelosimple scenery worked better and looked better in MSFS 2020 than in 2024.
Hello dear friends, the Sierrasim - Jorge Newbery Airport MSFS20 version is now available on the Marketplace, and MSFS24 will be available on Monday, March 30, 2026.
When can we expect the msfs2024 version on simmarket?
@cpdcpd It’s available now
SierraSim Aeroparque Jorge Newbery is terrific, I’d love to see SierraSim bring us Ministro Pistarini International Airport SAEZ-would blow the water out of the current TropicalSim payware SAEZ, would complement SABE nicely!
Agreed, decent SAEZ is very much needed!
This airport is now on sale at both Simmarket and Sierrasim’s own store.
So thanks to @JakTrax78 for the info about the sale and based on @LukG8843 ‘s post I decided to purchase Sierrasim’s rendition on their webpage (it was only 8 usd or so) even though I own VueloSimple’s version available on Marketplace. And no regrets, Sierrasim really has the edge. I like what I see practically everywhere I look at this airport…
Thanks for that statement — I’ve spent the last half-hour comparing this and the Vuelosimple but the respective images tend to show totally different areas of the airport and I was unable to decide which is better. Since you have both, I’ll take your word…
Can I just ask: does the Sierrasim version have the unique metal-railing perimeter fence?
If you mean this one…
And hold on, I’ll activate VueloSimple’s version and I’ll try to take screenshots from about the same spots like with Sierrasim’s one…
Thank you, Mhron. I took another look at the Vuelosimple version this morning and came to the conclusion that both versions are on a par, though if I had to choose, I’d actually prefer the Vuelosimple version. In particular, the building textures seemed to have a higher resolution to me. Otherwise, I couldn’t see anything in the screenshots from Sierrasim that was clearly better than in Vuelosimples scenery. But you sound very convinced, so I suppose I’ll have to give it some more thought.
This is VueloSimple, about the same spots where I took screenshots from Sierrasim’s one… (just without AI traffic)
I can’t help it but I like Sierrasim’s rendition better in general, though VueloSimple’s one is good too.
If you’re happy with Vuelo’s I think then the problem is solved. I was just curious and the price was low enough to just to take the risk.
I bought Sierrasim’s an hour or so ago but thanks for the further visuals. I noticed Vuelo’s custom Aerolineas Argentinas baggage dollies and considered them a positive for the scenery; however their use of a default fence model is pretty unforgivable! The (no longer available to purchase) Centralsim version has the proper fence and the fact that Sierra’s does too convinces me I made the right decision.
Yes, I know I’m a bit obsessed with perimeter fencing but when it’s as unique as it is at Aeroparque, it should be done properly.
Unfortunately, I’m always on the lookout for the best versions of an airport.
And this is actually an airport I’ve visited myself, albeit just once. And yes, I prefer Sierrasim in your screenshots too. Maybe I’ll take the plunge for around $8 as well.
Before you buy, let me have a peek at the scenery (in half-an-hour or so) — you’ll then have two opinions (although mhron’s carries more weight since he has both versions). Vuelo’s appears to use custom cars, at least in some areas, whereas I think Sierra’s are all default.
