@Tinkicker01: So, when I’m in multiplayer, I guess the A-10 or P-51 streaking by the window of my Cessna 172 will be you!
@Player831263167: I’d not give up hope yet. I don’t know your PC specs, but I’d suggest you wait until MSFS 2024 releases in November & see how it performs for folks with “Low End” systems before writing it off completely. You probably will not be able to run with every setting set to its maximum, but might still be able to enjoy flying none-the-less.
Ah. I have no beef with a 172. A Rheims C172 was my darling… GBEUX. I was learning to fly in her from LBA until a nasty motorcycle accident put paid to that aspect of my life.
18 months on crutches and the loss of the job as a result that paid for the tuition and hire brought me to flight sims.
Originally a bit Meh, but the advent of VR was a dream come true.
I look forward to taxying out on Foxtrot in C172, doing my engine checks at holding point B, taking off from leeds bradford, and flying over my house in MSFS 2024.
I started with FS4 on a 286/12 with 1MB memory in 1989. Then FS5, then FS2k, then FSX, now FS2020. I was an original member of what, as far as I know, was the first virtual airline, way back on Prodigy. It might have been AOL, as we all switched to that at some point. Geoff, if you’re reading this, Howdy.
I’m lookijng forwared to FS2024. I have a Ryzen 5 5500, 48GB memory, RTX 3050 8GB, 1TB NVMe, and a 43" 4K monitor (not TV). I use a Spektrum Interlink DX for a controller, and it works beautifully especially with some custom 3D printed sticks.
I’m looking forward to learning how to use FS2020/4 better, and in 2025 I want to get some eye tracking going and get more into multiplayer/online play, which I currently haven’t really done any of.

Hello everyone, I’m Bill or William (I’ll answer to both, but prefer Bill) I’m not that new to flight sim, as I’ve had FSX: Steam Edition for years and MSFS 2020 for a few years I started on MSFS for win 95 back in like 2000 and mostly messed around in that one as a kid. I just now decided to join the forums. I play MSFS on PC with a yoke, throttle detent, rudder pedals and a stream deck+. You’ll catch me flying just about anything or sitting on the tarmac programming my stream deck or attempting to make custom scenery.
Hello, welcome to MSFS 2020.
Part of Flight Crew. I’m on Xbox X. a320, a318, a310, F-18 Hornet,
Eurofighter Typhoon.
Add me if you like, and if you need assistance.
Hi, new to flying (via the sim). I worked at an airport for 22 years. Looking forward to learning to fly especially after following pilots on YouTube. The YouTube video really de-mystified how planes function and the responsibilities of pilots. I am surpirsed that my circa 2002 MS Sidewinder 2 Force Feedback works with the sim.
I am currently going through the Flight Training modules.
