Was yesterday’s City Update released on both? The roadmap doesn’t specify one sim, the other, or both - but the official announcement blog post only references MSFS 2024.

Thanks! So the official blog post needs an update, but I can understand why 2020 users have doubt given that the National Parks update seems to heavily rely on something (countryside TIN) that has very much been marketed as a 2024-exclusive.
WU22 will be great fun for the first week or two but I was hoping for a new country thats not been touched like somewhere in the continent of Asia or Greece for example.
Realistically who is going to be using the blimp 
Somewhere out there is a whole community of airship simmers asking, “Realistically who is going to be flying a widebody airliner for 8 hours ”

You must not bush fly much. I’ll be flying this more than any other update.
Hmmm, where? I almost never see screenshots of airships and balloons. The only time I see a balloon is the simmers who look for Fauna.
Maybe MS is trying to recreate the blimp that does TV streaming for sports events - I know, it can record the Red Bull races 
There are plenty of aircraft in the sim I don’t regularly see screenshots of - doesn’t mean they aren’t used. MS has all the telemetry to know exactly how many flight hours every aircraft in the sim gets, so I’m sure they wouldn’t waste their time and resources on something no one uses 
How many folk fly the Wright brothers plane or the Savoia m. A few maybe. You might have a go but that’s it. These are not planes we fly routinely. So I dispute the “don’t waste time” theory.
I ask you how many times a month you might fly an aviator ed aircraft up to end su4? Me, apart from the have a go in a few .. almost never.
I love the Latecoere and thats the only one really.
I’ve flown Aviator edition aircraft pretty regularly since launch. Let’s just let people enjoy the sim the way they want to, and recognize that there are many experiences other than our own.
I guess I’m one of the few. I fly the Savoia Marchetti S.55 a lot, and have a plan to fly it up the west coast of Africa as part of my round-the-world trip, temporarily delayed due to the release of CU15.

Just because you don’t see balloons / blimps etc. in screenshots does not mean they are not used. I often fly the balloons for quick 15-20 minute flights when I want to relax & just enjoy the scenery. I’ll try out the goodyear blimp & see if it fits into my style of flying. If it does, it will become part of my flying experiences.
Yes I know you do fly all of those. You are the “few” I refer to. I see your beautiful screenshots frequently.
Taking the time to observe nature… without pressing the pause button… It’s a nice change.

That’s the T.A. Moulton Barn in Grand Teton NP.
There’s no airstrip there irl. Not really even a place to safely land-out as there’s all sorts of fences, signposts, creeks, etc on the adjacent fields and roads irl.
And bison to watch out for.
One of my best memories from there is cycling alone along the dirt track just south of the barn and a solitary bison ambling alongside.

I see that so many of these new national parks don’t have a quality handcrafted airfield scenery available for them. Let’s hope that this World Update will inspire developers to do many new airfields in the covered areas!
