ohh wow WU Canada and the Beaver in 40th Anniversary.. gonna be a good winter eh?
biggest hope for me is cleaning up elevation and mesh it’s pretty bad in many places but Canada’s a big place. the big airports are covered by pay/freeware anyway.

follow the St-Lawrence River till CYRI then
CYQB(passing over ile d’Orléans + old Québec before final landing rwy 29)
Recommended plane : TBM
I have a question:
How do world-update airports get decided? Why are the airports that are being handcrafted chosen?
Oh heck yeah!!! Born and raised in Kitchener/Waterloo. They filmed part of Strange Brew at The Condordia Club, which was very close to where I lived at that time.
Jorg said in the Q&A that they primarily choose airports that are spread around the country, to get players to explore places they might not normally & for variety. Then it will be a case of interesting airports & locations.
They also got some (small) backlash in the past for creating airports that had already popular 3rd party one’s made as people felt a little cheated after spending money on a airport only for it to be done for free in a world update. Most, if not all major airports in Canada have decent 3rd party versions already. It also keeps those 3rd party developers happier.
Then it’s also about time constraints. Sure, they can do a big international airport but then they’d not have time for much else. I’m personally happier with 5 smaller airports that offer great variety & new experiences then just a couple big airports that are already done.
If im not wrong, we dont have high quality payware for the whole province of Québec
CYQB has a very good freeware
CYUL has a feeeware too, but VERY fps intensive
Its in dire need of something better
Same thing for CYMX
Rest of the province is bare minimum autogen
Nice! That’s awesome. I’m a yank myself, but I loved to spend time in British Columbia when I lived in the Seattle area. That is some of the most breathtaking landscape I’ve ever seen. I’ll have to look for the Condordia Club from the air now though
To make it cooler, only having the vintage Buffalo Airways aircraft
We are going to need a DC-3 , such an iconic aircraft in Canadian aviation.
I think we are getting that in the 40th anniversary…I hope
That would be awesome!
Hardly Canadian, especially with so many other great Canadian types possible, but as we already know the Beaver is coming as well as the DC-3 so no worries there.

Context? (Or cite a reference?)
just high on hopium i think.
Seeing whistler from the air will be neat. I used to snow board there.
Just to be clear, that’s that person’s wishlist of places they want to see rather than the ones that have been shown as coming in the Canada update.
