I am super sad. The weekend comes all but once a week and I look foward to playing this game and flying through the beautiful cloud layers. All I have now is clear skies. I have no escape now from my hard week of work. There’s nothing like flying through high altitude cirrus and then descending through a mid-level altocumulus cloud deck and then the lower level stratiform nimbostratus. My escape is gone because Asobo and Microsoft are failing to fix this problem. The METARS tease me with this really sexy multilayer cloud description only to realize the game won’t load them. It’s so frustrating and now I’m going to go to bed wondering if I’ll ever be gliding through complex cloud structures again.
Also, why is every gate filled with an aircraft despite that I have ground AI set to 10%.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue: I have both store and steam versions on 2 different drives and both are showing no live weather anywhere in the world. Both communities are empty, and have tried all the suggestions in the forums. This is obviously a server issue. I live in Tampa Florida with Spectrum internet 500 mps and no vpn and not using wifi, ethernet only. Clear skies eveywhere.

Sorry to hear that the suggestion didn’t work for you folks @manny732 and @tibu73 or anyone else that tried it. Seems like it’s been acknowledged as an outage finally.
After the latest update I have AGAIN no clouds. Before the update there were none either, but the trick with disabling IPv6 helped. Now Asobo has removed this trick. Apparently. In any case, I have only wind, but no clouds.
This is very very sad.
The Live weather problem is getting bigger as time goes by. No weather (stuck at 251620), no clouds injection - even with wrong metar and most of times in my case VPV do nothing.
it works for me for over 2 months that the issue appears. When ip change to US or NED or use the WARP the weather start working immediately. I thing at the start of this thread you can find some screenshots of my sim with and without VPN.
Just FYI that wish was fulfilled since the release of the Aviat Husky. The only single aircraft they created since was the Guimbal Cabri because the needed resources were found across the street. Since it’s only third parties developing aircraft for Microsoft to be put into the simulator, 0 effort here is taken into development, just some effort is done by the SDK team to help in special cases.
About the topic itself I have a delay for weather to inject of like 3 minutes currently, but it works with clouds and everything.
