I had to walk away from the sim and my house, seconds after getting to the World Map to plan a flight.
However, the entire world map/globe was devoid of clouds. I’d never seen it look that way.
I have to assume I didn’t have live weather, but like I said I didn’t get to get any farther, because I was called away.
I can post a screenshot of the map when I get back.
Regionally, I’m in California along the Central Coast, basically midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Did someone who doesn’t have weather check my solution from my previous post? For me, it fixes the problem, it’s only a few seconds and a maximum of 3 attempts (in my case for 10 flights) for METAR and weather to work ![]()
A quick update from me - around 1h ago I started getting correct METAR + snow on the ground. Clouds only showed up a few minutes after take off, but disappeared after ~15minutes. It seems like I don’t get any precipitation, but I am not sure yet.
Server - West Europe.
UK, west eu server. Flying in USA atm. Weather loaded in 84seconds, but during the flight (after 3.5h) I’ve got the connection issue error. Since then I have only metar areas, wind, but no clouds outside that area or precipitation at all.
. I supposed to landing in a hell at KORD
To restart the online fuctionality yes i do on xbox often thx.
I don’t know if this helps MS/Asobo but thought I would share:
I was flying south over the central US with weather and clouds seemed accurate. I ran into the dreaded cloud line of death (the straight line at which the clouds abruptly stop and will no longer be injected no matter how far you fly). I turned around and went straight back towards the clouds. I flew north for around 500-600 miles with injected clouds until I hit another straight cloud (and snow) line of death. I just turned around again and am flying back into the clouded area. I will try east and west now. Just odd that clouds would inject for these 500-600 miles but not further south nor north.
It’s different bug: Live weather stops injecting after a certain duration flown / certain time flown
I know but they move those posts to this one now.
For me things are starting to get better. Just hopped on, clouds are injecting after ~1 minute. METAR is updated to the latest one. Happy to see it.
Unfortunately the clouds will most likely stop injecting if you fly around long enough. That is what many of us are experiencing.
Nope.
Can confirm.
REX doesn’t inject clouds in my system. METAR is up to date.
And we’re back to no clouds…
Seems a bit strange for this to be ongoing for 7 days!
Lost Cloud again in KCLT. Hope that this Azure thing gets resolve.
