I love flying the longitude and a bit disappointed this aircraft doesn’t get enough love? I see so many people modding but this aircraft should be the flagship of the private jet fleet. No wing flex on these either? Not even a little. But I would love to see more done with this aircraft. Thank you
Definitely agree with you there
I feel the same way about the 787.
I feel the same way about all the aeroplanes!
It’s paying the extra $60 for some unfinished aircraft that goads me.
It’s like buying a first class seat only to find that seat is in the economy section, you just get a cushion…and then when you complain you get told you can’t have a refund and just pay for an economy seat cos you’ve already sat on the cushion.
Same. Many aren’t even at the level of completion of the planes in the standard edition.
ALL the default aircrafts are a mess! (maybe some GA Aircrafts are flyable…)
If you only want to fly around like a game, it is okay…but if you understand a bit more about aviation, it is very dissappointing what you get for you extra money…
use the Flybywire A32Nx, or the Cj4 Mod, thats in my mind the ONLY planes close to reality!
It’s worth saying that the access protection, on the aircraft in the deluxe and deluxe premium package, to stop people who haven’t paid from getting into them, unfortunately also prevents too much modding work being done on them.
Many are, and it’s all I fly.
it’s all i fly too. We need more with this plane!
Best plane in the deluxe packages is the C172 with round guages. All the jets in the higher packages were a joke on day one and are still pretty much a joke.
I don’t remember which package each plane came from, but I bought the top package and I agree with others here that the simpler the real world plane is, the better the FS version of it is. And as you move up in complexity, they go down in quality.
All the Cessna pistons are pretty good, the Baron and the Bonanza are pretty good, the cubs are good. etc
The 787, and 747 are kinda terrible even after the patches.
The A320 is ok, and of course the FBW mod makes it pretty great.
The extra airports were good value I feel.
Couldn’t agree more. The 172 is pretty awesome, actually. I’ve got enough hours on that plane that if it were real, I’d have my PPL by now. lol I love the simplicity of it combined with the GNS530. Add scorpionfims’ GNS mod, and this is the best plane in the sim overall as far as I’m concerned.
Both those planes are rather anemic. Their in-sim performance doesn’t match their real life numbers.
The Baron is ok-ish. If it didn’t have auto-mixture enabled, it would be passable. I’d love to see it have a little more horses under the hood, but it’s a nice plane as it is. If they could just fix the ■■■■ mixture, I would call it acceptable.
The Bonanza is terribly underpowered stock. It doesn’t even come close to matching its real life numbers. Its speed is well below its advertied capabilities, and its climb power is terrible. Using one of the Bonanza mods really helps a lot. I personally use the Turbo Bonanza mod, and it’s amazing. Since I started using that, it’s become a favourite plane of mine and gets a LOT of flight time. FOr me, it’s the 172 Classic, Mooney, Turbo Bonanza, and TBM. If I had nothing else but those planes, I’d be fine. The Baron does get some love from me too when I want to go dual engine.
I never noticed. I like flying small aircraft into tiny airfields simply because flying airliners IFR isn’t a satisfying experience yet, with ATC the way it is.
Ditto. I got the PD edition for the planes. I couldn’t care less about major airports. I land at them occasionally, but typically I use smaller regional / municipal airports due to flying GA.
It’s just $130 (something) dollars, keep in mind some industrial level simulators cost tens or even hundreds of thousands… considering the size of this project there isn’t that big profit margin for MS/Asobo…
Planes I use in order of flight time.
Mooney. Best
Baron
Seminole
182t
MB 339. Very comfortable
Typhoon…for some reason, very stable for me…love it!
No real complaints other than trying to figure out where to post things in here. This place has gotten so convoluted it isn’t funny.
I bought the deluxe just for the business jets. My biggest issue is stability with them, it’s a bummer. Between the AP rocking issue (finally fixed), but I still crash most of the time using the G3000’s flight plan page.
That’s pretty close to what I fly, though I’d add the Jabiru 160/170 to the mix.
I don’t know that I’ve seen that…
