I thought the world map had now been updated to include showing the airports taxiways, all I currently get is the same old white dots and the runways?.
World Map never had taxiways on the map - but I wish it world… It’d be a lot more helpful for figuring out the best place to start with regards to the active runway.
The satellite image bkg helps, but the runway graphic stomps on some of the taxiways.
I can see the taxiways when I zoom in…
In fact, if you look at the screen grab below, you can see a plane on one of the taxiways.
Unfortunately, you can’t get to the world may while flying (or taxiing in/out).

One of easiest (and free) solutions is to use Little Nav Map. You can run it in a second window if you have another monitor, or easily Alt-Tab between the sim and LNM. Best of all, LNM has labels for all the taxiways in-sim. So when Ground gives you instructions to get to either the Active or your ramp spot/gate, LNM’s airport view zoomed in shows you exactly which one is Taxiway A/B/J etc., or which Gate is C25. And that’s not all it can do. It’s a full blown EFB. I even use it as an flight sectional because it has a moving map display to show you where you are, plus a vertical position display, and you can call up runway and coms frequencies, ILS frequencies, all based in-game so it works.
Want to load a procedure but don’t know which transition is closest to you? Done. Airways and airspaces? Yep.
