Not AAU1: Cessna Citation Longitude Flight Dynamics Modification Project

Have not seen this issue but I’ll be on the look out.

No way I’ve found to affect engine performance with de-ice. That’s not a variable/parameter in any of the files I’ve worked with. Same issue with APU not consuming fuel. The de-ice CAS is per @TXTAVDan who works on Longitude for Textron. So I would imagine it’s accurate.

How Dakfly0219 has it is how it is related to the De-Ice info.

Here is an example of high head wind landing with ILS. Minimal affect for me at least, but I am careful about bumping TAS and flaps

with this kind of head wind.

See the below thread. Rolling Nvidia drivers back to 466.77 fixed it for me.

I will check. Thank you for the info.

Think your FDE flight mod is brilliant. I’m all up to date with both your mod and WT 7.6 but still getting map freeze. usually after about an hour into flight. Any idea what can be done here? B

Thank you. No this is out of the scope of what my mod is doing in the sim. Perhaps an issue with WT’s mod.

You could try using dev mode and re-syncing the plane but that will be very disruptive to your flight and could cause a CTD with WT mod (I’ve had issues with resync and the WT latest mod).

Thanks Dak. Keep up the great work. B

Another thought. You could also try the aircraft selector from dev mode and re-select the longitude and see whether this resets the avionics. Also disruptive but less likely to CTD.

I get this probem too. Changing the range on the map (zoom in or out) sometimes unfreezes it, but not always.

I used to have those maps freezes. The way I found to fix it was to remove the WT folder from the communiy, start the sim without and set the longitude on a rwy then exiting the sim and put back a new fresh copy of WT (out of the zip file).
But the weird part is that I dont have those freezes for some time. It’s like if bugs come and go, on different times for different people. I got rid of that bug and now I have lights flickering and chequered image, an old prob that I never had before lol.

I find the map freezes very random, it can happen on a 2 hour flight and be fine on a 6 hour flight! Hopefully the WT guys will fix it in the near future!

I’ve now completed several flights with the Longitude post SU6, and with the latest Dakfly and WT mods installed.

Didn’t encounter any major issues, and was able to complete all flights from cold and dark to shutdown. Certainly didn’t encounter the “map freeze” issue. Never have.

This aircraft now handles very nicely. Thanks to Dakfly, the WT guys, and the modder who fixed the annuciator issues. Terrific job!

I had the same issue with the map freeze. But after installing the WT G1000, it removed the map freeze for me. Give it a try, maybe it helps you too.
Edit: And yes, it should not have anything to do with the G3000, but somehow, it does.

I was also getting map freezes with the WT mod. I did the following combination of things and since then I have not had a freeze. It may be only one or more of these actions that stopped my freezes so just passing along.

-Delete WT G3K from Community folder, re-download a fresh version from WT website or GitHub, re-install into community folder, including road data.
-DO NOT open the sim VFR map during the flight. This seems to conflict with the WT mod.
-Ensure your GPU driver is up to date.
-If freezes persist, turn traffic off.

I open the vfr map regularly during flights and use the WT G 3000. Never had an issue.

Thanks. This seems to have got it. Haven’t tried w the vfr map yet but that’s next. Cheers!

When you use the road data, is MSFS still talking long to close? I removed it because of this.

I doubt it is with the mod, but will ask anyway… Is anyone having an issue sporadically where the AT will continue past the speed setting?

For example, I climb to cruise using FLC at M0.80, which once I get to set altitude goes to cruise speed set at M0.80. I then increase the value to M0.82, which is my normal cruise speed. I will say 50% of the time, even though I will have the speed set at M0.82, speed will keep increasing, and will go into overspeed if I let it. To resolve, I have to greatly reduce the set speed, until aircraft speed starts reducing, then set back to M0.82. Sometimes I need to do this a couple times to make work.

Like I said, doubt it has to do with the FD mod, everything else works great.
